Emergent ultimatum, the curse of historic brawl
A stat list of cards come up in each deck seems interesting. I feel 80% of decks are the same and 20ish fit the theme
That's one of my issues with commander. Everyone says every card is viable but then you see the same cards every game
I built this deck. But every game my opponent would draw 2 or 3 wraths, and the cute little trick of avoiding removal meant nothing.
Been looking for a new Orzhov commander, this video came at a great time!

Yet another reason why Emergent Ultimatum just needs to be banned. Why do decks with the sultai color combo get an automatic 7 mana I-win-the-game card? Also Arena is trash for not putting Atraxa into hell queue already if they aren't going to ban her.

The closest white version god would have been Lathander.

Got two of those in my prerelease and people don't know how to interact with it for sure. Went 4-0 with an Esper control shell. I think I'm watching you too much as you are turning me into a control player.

If King is on the battlefield, and a spirit is cast from hand that players hand that controls King, at what point does it become a creature?
Can it be countered by a counter spell ability?
Does Kings ability not allow that spirit to be countered, due to the triggered ability of phasing out?
Its always a creature. In hand its a creature card, on the stack its a creature spell and on the battlefield its a creature (permanent). In this instance King of Oathbreakers refers to permanents

OK I know Atraxa and Ultimatum is tilting, but you were far from dead there. Give them the 2 extra turns; they only have the mana to cast their extra turn spells, drop a land or two if they get lucky top decks, then play Atraxa and only have a couple of mana up with their draw 5. You have a suite of removal to deal with the Atraxa. Game is not over.
And this bugs me because literally the game before you said the opponent shouldn't have scooped when they did despite you still having flying attacks they couldn't deal with

I've recently started getting into Historic Brawl and it feels like people scoop out of games so fast. The second one thing goes wrong they just concede even if they're still ahead, very weird. To be clear I'm playing very jank or very straitforward decks as well, nothing hell queue worthy.
