My motivation is learning all I can every day of the year. I go for a CTF every day. I love the art of hacking, and I intend on perfecting my craft. My motivation is also my family. They love to hear me explain how I learned a new technique or skill in hacking. Another motivation is individuals like you, who post videos to help in areas institutions clearly do not provide. Thank you! for your walkthroughs, it is very enlightening.
great advice, thanx! I must admit, having 2 little kids is pretty much challenging. With a 2-years-old boy running in the house and spreading chaos there is no chance to keep focused on anything! with a voll-Time job on the top of that, YOU ARE DONE!! For me I wait till my children sleep, normally at about 08pm, then I'd start learning. Waking up too early would be harder than hacking itself--> not for me ;-)
* Plan the day before: What you are going to study & learn & practice. * If you are having a issue to study after 6-7pm, go to bed early and start studying really early morning (5am). You sacrificed to wake up that hour, don't spend it for nothing. * Try to be away from social media during working and studying hours. * Set up a studying area, not the place you eat, you watch.
Bug bounty really overwhelmed me before but as much i learn about it i realise it's just me who needs discipline in my study routine. Btw i am waiting for that web application video 😁
Glad I stumbled across this video! Same with me, two young kids and waking up around 4am to get studying done before work. It’s really working out for me and even if I don’t get studying done at home after work, I still feel accomplished instead of regretful. Nice to see it worked out for you and hoping I can do the same!
Do you have any suggestions for someone that is attempting to change careers later in life? I'm 42, and have worked in the medical field for the past 13 years. Before that, I was a chef for 15 years. Am I to old to start in this field? Hacking and cyber security has always been very interesting to me. However, unfortunately, I was never able to pursue it. I am a complete noob and recently enrolled in a cyber security program at the local college. So any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, I enjoy the channel immensely. Thank you for the content.
There are actually a lot of youtube videos of people becoming programmers in their 40s if you need inspiration😁 it is not the same as cyber security but runs in the same vein. You can change careers into cyber security for sure. Are you wanting to become red team, blue team, or another area of infosec? If you are wanting to become a penetration tester you should look into working as a cyber security analyst first. This seems to be the typical path people take when getting into infosec.
@@ryan_phdsec thanks for the info. I have started watching your videos regularly and appreciate the input 👍 I'm not sure exactly what part if info sec I want to go into yet. Still trying to find my niche. So I'm trying to learn as much as I can
Considering I tried everything else... thx for advice (again :) ... and I even don't use social media. Yet I still feel kinda lazy because with all downsides I still work in IT. Cannot imagine being the person coming from other fields... they are true heroes (and heroines).
The biggest thing for me personally is having a job that allows some studying. I've actually found I prefer to study rather than waste time while having downtime at work. As long as I study and learn a little every day, I feel much better about my day, and don't have to use too much personal time for studying.
I really needed this video. Its hard for me to study with a 3 year old daughter and a pregnant fiancé on most days lol guess I'll be getting up bright and early for a while 😅

Understand the lack of value it gives you. It's deficits>>value. Value of Facebook is super neglected to your own life, time, education, happiness, mindset, quiet mind.
I used to be on facebook all the time. I changed my password to something I don't know and I have no social media on my phone and facebook is only on my spare desktop. Now I will go 5-6 days without checking facebook because i am never on that spare computer.
How long it took you to become Bug hunter how long it will take for someone who know how to code in Python and java also have knowledge Networking and Linux ?

Hacking has a really steep learning curve, I think that most people get overwhelmed but if you just keep going it gets easier.

Bro that’s exactly what I am doing ! Good to know that I am on the good path!
Thanks for the video, what would you do if you have only 3/4 hours in the day ? Will you play ctf or study bugs or hunt all days ?
I do CTFs... I have already logged over 2 hours on a CTF today 🤣
Professor made another fire video, just so grateful for your efforts in teaching absolute rookies like me 👌❤️🔥🔥

Can you please do a video on how to find admin panel of any website?
Usually adman panels will be forbidden. However, There are a few ways to get around that and I can make a video on that. Thanks for the idea.
@@ryan_phdsec looking forward for that video.
Single father of triplets, on my first bounties 😁
Please share free resources to get job in cybersecurity
I like your study habits!

How Many Hours Did You Sleep when you are studying?
I feel the best at 7ish hours... If I sleep less than that I feel tired and if I sleep more than 8 I wake up and still feel tired.
Thank you for sharing those learning insights. Greatly appreciated
You very do well bro god with you
I like you bro

I dont think energy drinks are a good idea, learn is important, but the health is more important than everything
I have started cutting back on my energy drinks 😳 I have been drinking sparkling water 😂
