I learned my lesson with idler pulley’s on cars like that. If one is bad and you have to go through hell to replace one, do them all! If one goes out, the others are not far behind. 🤠

I really like the Mercedes. But i honestly don't think i'd ever own one. My BMW is a big enough pain as it is. But you keep doing what you do man. Enjoy the content.

Let string could be due to a tensioner or roller failing,bearing eating a belt

3.35 Randy thats part of the belt, check all pulleys as one my have a nick thats cutting the in side of the belt

Hey Mike, I have a an 03 S600 and a 98 SL600. One problem I keep having is the secondary air pump. Even though I have replaced it all

Could stringy thing be picked up from another car, or previous belt string not found and left on pulley.
