Common mistake. The tv-broadcast is live. The music is not.
You don't set up a 20pcs band in to a tv-studio to perform a couple of songs in front of a small studio audience.
A tv network would never pay for that. If you want to experience ABBA live, check out "ABBA live att Wembley 1979":
You will not regret it.
Or even check 'Abba The Movie'(The '77 Aussie fimed tour)
LIVE-suggestions - ”I’ve been waiting for you” and ”Hasta Mañana” from Australia -77. Still waiting for the groovy and romantic ”The Name Of The Game” (which has atleast three videos I’ve seen). They are all great treasures.
Sit down and listen to Frida’s sexy vocal delivery. The harmonies nearly go off the scale. Another gem from the album.
Most of the tv show performances are playback unfortunately, but there's some actual live stuff of them performing on top of the pops, and also the Australian tour and Wembley concert. They're great when they do play live.
Thank you for showing them live. It's so great to see them performing on stage. Fridas smooth sultry vocals are outstanding here
I really love everything about this song. Frida's deep soft voice, Agnetha's high notes, the text wonderful and surely someone who has just read about this in the newspaper - about the science of love/closeness/sex/and caring 😀 good for well-being. Good study! Also love the catch, the soft seductive verses and then the loud powerful chorus. But it's like for you, new song new favorite all the time, over and over again 😀. From this TV performance there is a video where they continue with (Kisses of fire, I think), which has Agnetha as the lead singer. The performance and the songs go so well together. The best of the best!
Funky little tune!!
It's not "Live" they're live on stage but miming to the album track. But that's what everyone did back in the day.
You need to react to Does Your Mother Know/ Hole In Your Soul live from Wembley also you should put “Y’all” on a T-shirt cos you say that a lot too 😁
Vor diesem Lied war noch der Song "Kisses of fire" so gut ! Die Girls sooo sexy und einfach perfekt :-)
I'm not certain what the above person is saying, but I'm pretty sure I agree with them!
Thank you. One of my favourite Abba tracks ever. They really enjoying singing it, even if it is miming - they were actually brilliant lip synchers. Despite not being the lead singer here, Agnetha really has fun with her one liners. This is one of those Marmite songs that people either love or hate - because of the rather high notes in the chorus - but I still believe it is one of their finest and has stood the test of time! Perfect for a Mamma Mia film because of the great storytelling. Please try Name of the Game when you have a moment.
Yay!
Thank you, Chase! 👩❤👩👩❤👨👨❤👨
You say “that’s insane” more and it’s much more catchy
I have 2 sugestion if you not done them yet. First is fun, "Love is't easy (but sure it is hard enough) 😃 and the second from the same album" My mama said".
Hey! You got their names down now! Congrats! 😅 It is a great song!
Yep playback but that true Live at Wembley Does Your Mother Know/Hole In Your Soul performance is screaming out to you.
Was the audio low for this as didnt get very loud and had my headphones on full volume.
If you really like ABBA live performances (or at least seeing them live while singing in playback), then you missed an opportunity to react to "If It Wasn't for the Nights" live in Japan (and some others too)
...aaaand 'KISSES OF FIRE" from this Swiss TV show since it was dualed with Lovers.
congratulations for choosing the video of the Swiss performance in February1979
ABBA did there a TV special, with guest artists (I think Kate Bush and Roxy Music among them),
on the occasion of the International Year of the Child and in favor of UNICEF.
ABBA in this special premiered several songs of their future album "Voulez Vous", among them these two songs.
More than in the songs, I'm going to pay attention to Frida and Agnetha.
the corporal attitude that the girls put to the already recorded in the studio is spectacular, and in this case it is very important, since both are sexy and seductive,
More with the explosive interventions of Agnetha (I would risk to say that she seems almost wild, less than two months after her separation from Björn).
They were neither hits nor that well known
because from the album "Voulez Vous" four singles were released in the UK.
all Top 5 but none #1:
#2 Chiquitita
#4 Does your mother know
#3 Voulez Vous / Angeleyes
#2 I have a dream
Personally are among my favorite ABBA songs,
for me are regular or acceptable, 5pts, such is the high level of ABBA's catalog.
That's why I think that the singers Frida and Agnetha
surpass with their performances the level of the song.
It have the influence of disco music and the hit movie "Saturday Night Fever"
Greetings and blessings

U gotta react to some CCR (Credence Clearwater Revival) a band that has become iconic and was ahead of their time.....a couple of suggestions r Fortunate Son, Bad Moon Rising
It's a lipsync performance, but... iblove it, anyway 😊!
The girls look really gorgeous and Frida's voice is so freaking sexy...😍
See you next time, Chase... Go on!
Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗👍
Love it when Frida loses herself in the moment.
If you like live versions of stuff, check out Kylie Minogue in. NewYork city singing “Confide in me!” Or in the royal Albert hall singing Your Disco Needs You” :)
The bridge is missing after the second chorus.
They are lipsyncing. It's not live, like many of their "live" performances. Just compare it to the ones on the record. Their only real live performances were in ABBA The Movie, The Dick Cavett Show and Show Express 1982.
SOS live at the seaside special.
There are more@@jselectronics8215
@@jselectronics8215 What about SOS live '77 Australian tour?Imo their best live version to this song.
1979 tour!!
First time I have heard this song. Can't say I am a fan of Lip sync to pre-recorded music.
If you want to see live you need to do the live version of Why Did it Have to be Me. ruclips.net/video/sr83yqDCkLY/видео.html. You've already done the song but not this performance. It's live and electric. Another one which you have never done, So Long ruclips.net/video/QAjx2oTU20k/видео.html. There are several versions. But this is the one where they go nuts.
This is NOT live :) Just pretending to.
It's the studio tape you hear.
It's o.k. to just listen to the song without a video. Sometimes the videos distract from the actual song.
Slightly abbreviated version. They are lip synching to the actual album track (albeit edited).
This is not live, it’s playback. They are miming
Most TV performances were mimed. So many rules and regulations.
And damn, they sure are good at miming! Just another one of ABBA's amazing talents!
@@SapphireZucchini-xb3vr They are.I personally don't care tht much about miming i just can't take my eyes off these 2 gurls anyway.I feel beautiful. They are such a drug.
