Special counsel prosecutors have been appointed in the US for 175 years, and NOW it’s unconstitutional?!
Smith was a private citizen before the appointment. He can’t be Superior to Garland. If he doesn’t have to report to Garland, Smith must be appointed by the President and Senate.
They were done legally and according to the law. Smith's appointment was not.

This not only protects Trump from politically motivated special counsels but future presidents (Democrats included). There needs to be some rules related to special counsels. If you read Justice Thomas's concurring opinion in the immunity case, he so much as signals that this issue is ripe for appeal and ultimately the Supreme Court decision. My personal feeling is that the special counsel with its special powers and unlimited budget need some rules. This is the domain of the legislative branch as was previously set forth in the special counsel law and the Constitution.
So the question of if she should recuse herself is finally put to rest.

I wish you would have emphasized in this report that he hasn't been found innocent of anything that the charges are present and therefore actionable what has changed is the person prosecuting those charges is being denied. So he is based on the evidence that we all see guilty of having classified documents knowingly having classified documents and knowingly hiding them. Now it's just a matter of finding the right Court with the right jurisdiction with the right prosecutorial authority to do the needful. She has only aided and abetted and delaying and inevitable outcome.
The documents had been de-classified, and Trump was perfectly within his rights to keep them in a secure location. Unlike Biden's genuinely classified documents that were found in his garage, and thousands in a store room leased by the Ch'nese. Where is the corruption, I wonder? I think you are on the wrong side.

Donald Trump appointed Aileen Cannon to the federal judiciary. She was nominated by Trump in May 2020 and confirmed by the Senate in November 2020. Cannon serves as a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. How can this not be nepotism?

This will get appealed and most likely overturned at the appellate level. It will then either go to the supreme Court or get kicked back down to the lower court most likely with a different judge overseeing the case. If anything it's just another handout delay by Cannon, however, if it goes to the Supreme Court Thomas has already written his opinion (and gave Cannon the roadmap for what she did) so at least one judge seems to think that Special Prosecutors are not constitutional. Honestly, this who thing stinks like corruption, cronism, and political pandering....
Jack Smith is already ahead of Cannon with his July 12th filling, telling the judge that Thomas was wrong in his opinion. Now the case can move forward to appeals as it should have months ago.
And should it be appealed (11th circuit) and overturned, you can well imagine an emergency appeal to SCOTUS. Emergency appeals are handled by the Supreme Court justice assigned to the the circuit. In this case, for the 11th circuit, that would be Clarence Thomas.
Yes, Jack Smith is the supreme legal authority of the United States and Canon and Thomas have to abide by Smith's directions.
Give it up already. Even if the case hadnt been tossed, Trump would have ended the investigation once he takes office anyway.

SUBCHAPTER II-OFFICE OF SPECIAL COUNSEL
§1211. Establishment
(a) There is established the Office of Special Counsel, which shall be headed by the Special Counsel. The Office shall have an official seal which shall be judicially noticed. The Office shall have its principal office in the District of Columbia and shall have field offices in other appropriate locations.
(b) The Special Counsel shall be appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, for a term of 5 years. The Special Counsel may continue to serve beyond the expiration of the term until a successor is appointed and has qualified, except that the Special Counsel may not continue to serve for more than one year after the date on which the term of the Special Counsel would otherwise expire under this subsection. The Special Counsel shall be an attorney who, by demonstrated ability, background, training, or experience, is especially qualified to carry out the functions of the position. A Special Counsel appointed to fill a vacancy occurring before the end of a term of office of the Special Counsel's predecessor serves for the remainder of the term. The Special Counsel may be removed by the President only for inefficiency, neglect of duty, or malfeasance in office. The Special Counsel may not hold another office or position in the Government of the United States, except as otherwise provided by law or at the direction of the President.

I'll probably get hell for saying this but, first of all, all documents classified or not are NOT (NEVER!) supposed to leave the White House ever. Whether they are classified or unclassified. They are to stay in the White House always. Obviously, people don't even know that.
