It was late 1966. I was 20 years old and desperately needed my own wheels for work commute but could not afford a car, so I got a new 1966 S90. I had frequented the dealership for months before. They had on display S50, S90, CB160, CB305 and a CB450 black bomber. I was afraid of the 305 and 450 and the 160 was beyond my budget, so I got tge S 90. I rode it for 18 months, then got a CB175, which I kept for 1 year before getting a 1969 CB 350 K1. My next bike would have been the CB500 4, but I needed 4 wheels and could not afford to keep the bike, so after 1 year with the best bike I ever owned, I sold it. Later on in life I owned an Interceptor, CBR400RR, CBR600F, Bajaj 180 Pulsar, 250 Rebel, 400 V-twin Honda, Suzuki 800 V-twin, and now, at 76, a Hero 150 Hunk. 56 years since my S90, first bike, to the 150 Hunk. It's been a long ride.
Beautiful and stunning little Honda. That shade of red is nothing short of amazing! I hope I might be lucky enough some day, to have the opportunity to ride one of this. I've never seen these style on Honda's before watching your channel, nor have I ever seen one on the street. Hope I run into one day. Where Y'at, Billy. Thanks Brother, for answering my questions, a while bike over the phone, about my RZ 350. I LOVE when you ride that Yamaha TZ 750 2 stroke! 😲❤️
Sonny Seabury I bought one of these new in 1966 from a shop called Robert Robinson in Hartlepool uk. it was red, and I paid extra to have a full red fairing fitted. My mate had the same but his fairing was white. It took me and my mate one and a half days to travel 450 miles to St Ives in Cornwall, sleeping the night on the way down in a car park in Gloucester, and laid asleep on my bike overnight in a bus sheltter on the way back. I regret never taking a photo of it with it's full fairing, and have not even seen a photo of another one with a full fairing. But I still have the drivers manual, and a new steering lock that i bought in 1967 but never used.
that was my next step up from a minibike in like 1969-70 similar to this one mine had the higher exhaust I think it was a 1967-68 50 cc though didn’t do too bad for a dirtbike
In 1971 when I was a teen I had one turned into a dirt bike, with a loud straight pipe made for a Hodaka that turned upward. Kept breaking the hub in the rear, shearing the bolts out of the metal. Learned how to work on bikes with that one...lol
My second motorcycle, the red S90 just like this one. Loved it! After 2 years I traded it for a new Honda S125 Twin... also red. Ok.... my first motorcycle was a 1963 Ducati 90. Two-stroke, fan cooled with a 3-speed, clutch/ shifter on the left handlebar. I bought it in 1965.
I bought one exactly like that in the early 70’s. The man I bought it from actually took it on a road trip from Ohio to Florida (back roads). Rock solid super reliable bike. The fit and finish was incredible. Recently got bug to ride again…bought another honda.
I had a 1966 S 90, bought used with Strawberry picking money. Drove to Cannery work and Senior year hi School. Now I like my 1983 FXWG.

@@GenuineUFOs6833 Cool, Brother. Take care.
@@sonnyseabury4051 This was the original gangster bike in Jamaica in the 70s alongside the slightly faster C.B 100 . They were very common all over .
@@sonnyseabury4051 These bikes were built till way up in the 90s .
wow, my youth!

I have a 1965 Yamaha twin jet 100 that looks surprisingly similar.
My brother had the 65cc version. Looks totally the same.
I'd like to see you find a Sears 106 I had a buddy that had one back in the early 70s
o-gezz your killing me but im glad its you who are getting them!
Thought Billy might wheelie that. Another classic.
A little bit of black electrical tape on the fork boot would definitely be circa
