I think it gives the song a new touch. If you've gotten tired of the song you can listen to it in nightcore and you'll love it again. Anyways, that's the way it's for me and also I like the high-pitched voices. The male-versions are often better though, where they have lowered the pitch instead of making it higher like they do in nightcore.
