When you sit in The Office of The Prophet there is a deep knowing. For myself, I have had a longing for leaders to recognize it in me. When I was younger I would be sorrowful that no one seemed to understand anything about the 5 fold ministey except for the Pastor and Evangelist and possibly Teacher. It is rare to find anyone that comprehends the Office of the Apostle or the Office of the Prophet. I am so thankful and grateful for Bethel and listening to Kris Vallotton and Bill Johnson who do have more of an understanding than most. I won't say they know everything because we won't know everything until we leave this natural body.
I agree with Kris. There have been so many weirdos that have given a bad name to The Office of the Prophet that people will shy away. I do not loudly proclaim my call. I have had a couple leadership recognize. I am mostly introverted. That is not to say that Holy Spirit won't tell us to do something out of character or weird sometimes. I am just thankful New Testament Prophets don't go around ripping off their clothes. 😂

I just recently have overcame a medical condition I have had all my life undiagnosed I am finally writing the records The Lord has instructed me to write I started years ago but I have been struggling now I am able to and have been. Since you speak a lot on the importance of having favour with God and man, I immediately think of Proverbs 3:3-5. What does loyalty and kindness look like? Loyalty to what? Kindness in what context? I would love to hear your thoughts. The starting point of your calling starts alone with the Lord in humility.
There are different operations of tongues (diverse kinds…). Also public service or private prayer time. First step is to understand the difference. Were you supposed to intercede quietly for the service or was it for public service? There is a difference.

I was in a church and I felt the need to speak in tongues is that the Holy Spirit moving in me.
