His only remaining emotions is desire for revenge against white room, and his instinctive push to be at the top (result of drilled PTSD) It's extremelly slim, that he barely can feel it, but person cannot live without any emotional drive, no matter how slim. He intuitively sticks to Kei, because he thinks he might get closer to feeling emotions.

@@damemfumu Whiteroom training can do that but rn his strength is just capped. He can’t improve it but it’s stated that he trains to keep it from decreasing.
@@damemfumu To explain it, since Kiyotaka arrived at ANHS, his strength started to decrease which means that his skills aren't as fleshed out as they used to be in the White Room. Even Kiyotaka states himself that in the White Room, he was way stronger than his current version which hinders him to use his full strength. And if i remember correctly, he stated that he has 80% of his Strength and he also lost weight in the 2nd Year Island Exam since he was running around a lot, he evaded Tsukishiro & Shiba, tried to avoid the 1st 3rd Years, and was very dehydrated and didn't eat. Kiyotaka noticed that his strength was diminishing and started going to the GYM trying to maintain that strength. I'm very certain that the ANHS doesn't has the same resources as the White Room, but has enough to maintain his current strength in hopes of it not dropping further. Tbh, Kiyo in Year 1 is physically stronger than in Y2 since he freshly came out of the WR.

I think it will be both. I feel as though Ayanokoji is going to go around breaking other team's leader before going up against his creation (Horikita). He already almost killed Ryuen. He will break Ichinose in another cruel way.

And he’s trying to do that by taking actions that grow the leaders of the classes A-D so someone can defeat him- the greatest success of the white room. So he’s not breaking Ichinose, Ryuen, Sakayanagi or Horikita
I hope kei breaks his heart by leaving him, only after the fact realizing that he cared for her and regrets ruining the relationship. For the sake of experiencing it I think at the very least some form of a break up is in the future. He wants to feel / learn and I hope it's pain. Then he can end off on a decent, less toxic, more equal relationship with someone else. Personally, I think he will end up with sakayanagi, as she's the only one that fits this equal relationship, counterpart to his wr days as a genius raised normally, fully knows what he's like, etc. I doubt it will happen exactly like this since he's basically a sociopath. He may end up completely alone because he probably doesn't actually give a fuck about any of them, but I can dream lol. From the first day I watch COE anime.... I really want ichinose and kiyotaka to shop together.. Finally it's happening.... And BTW I think in order to defeat horikita... Ayano have to switch class.... So I think, the author is finally going around the point where ayano will switch to class D and join hands with ichinose to defeat horikita and take the lass A throne at the end of 3rd year.

I think kiyotaka want to destroy kei emotions from inside. Because she just always aware by his trust. To be secure ayanokoji using ichinose; as a puppet to awaken her darkside as her love. However true feeling feel to kei. Because like you read before he is wants to know what is love.❤ So in the end the kei will be on the end important puppet in his game.❤ We know a kiyotaka is a genius and he prefer had to control on his puppets then let them free without scars.

I have a little fear that based on how harem animes started ruling the world (if it's good and entertaining I don't mind tho), this show could end up there aswell with Kei, Honami and Arisu. In an odd way it can make sense, but usually isekai/fantasy animes are harem ones and this is not that genre. For now we can only predict a Kei vs Honami sentence (I will be there no matter what), but the reason why I included Arisu too is the scene where she visited Kiyotaka in his room and stuff happend. Maybe I just think too much maybe not, but if this show ends up in a harem situation, it better be have a very good reason why and a very good development for that.

I also think the same way, because the most characters introduced to have interactions with mc are the female characters. That's usually how it is done if the story goes the harem way(and they even goes out of the way by making all the girls interact with him first, except for horikita, who's basically the lone wolf type). Not that it's impossible, but in rl, a guy even the most friendly to girls, still have more inclination to have more interactions with boys than girls just because, like how even the most tomboy/pick me girls will still be expected to have more genuine relationship with girls than guy friends. Like, it's just how it is normally. But idk, his situation isn't that normal as he is lacking in terms of emotions and probably could communicate with girls better due to girls' tendency to be more empathic, but if I do meet a guy like him in rl, I'd.. probably either think of him as a cassanova who befriends all the girls he can get or some guy with a tendency to be friendzoned/have no interest in girls/the extreme, him being "that g*y bestfriend", which obv isn't the case in this story
Dude ichinose is really a great character sad that her fandom cring as f*ck telling lies like "she wants the exple everyone" bullying kei for no reason and adding ryuen so the lies they tell will sound "real" I'm sad for ichinose man
Well, with this being set up, it'll be interesting to see if now Ichinose on the final exam mangages to defeat Ayanokoji's class. I doubt he'll intervene in the exam like he didn't in this one. The question i have is "Does Ayanokoji expect her to maybe beat Class B now" or "Will he be suprised if she mangages to beat them". Personally i prefer the first option. It'd be interesting to know how she's been dancing in the palm of his hand, but the second one is also quite the interesting scenario

Here's my theory: he's gonna make kei break up with him. Idk if you read this volume, but at 11:16, he knew what he was saying and doing was wrong, but still did it anyway. Also, through their relationship, kei kept mentioning how she won't abide cheating. My theory is that ayanokoji will give the appearance that he is cheating, kei will ask him, he won't confirm nor deny it, like he usually does for questions, and then kei will break up with him.

I have a little fear that based on how harem animes started ruling the world (if it's good and entertaining I don't mind tho), this show could end up there aswell with Kei, Honami and Arisu. In an odd way it can make sense, but usually isekai/fantasy animes are harem ones and this is not that genre. For now we can only predict a Kei vs Honami sentence (I will be there no matter what), but the reason why I included Arisu too is the scene where she visited Kiyotaka in his room and stuff happend. Maybe I just think too much maybe not, but if this show ends up in a harem situation, it better be have a very good reason why and a very good development for that.

I also think the same way, because the most characters introduced to have interactions with mc are the female characters. That's usually how it is done if the story goes the harem way(and they even goes out of the way by making all the girls interact with him first, except for horikita, who's basically the lone wolf type). Not that it's impossible, but in rl, a guy even the most friendly to girls, still have more inclination to have more interactions with boys than girls just because, like how even the most tomboy/pick me girls will still be expected to have more genuine relationship with girls than guy friends. Like, it's just how it is normally. But idk, his situation isn't that normal as he is lacking in terms of emotions and probably could communicate with girls better due to girls' tendency to be more empathic, but if I do meet a guy like him in rl, I'd.. probably either think of him as a cassanova who befriends all the girls he can get or some guy with a tendency to be friendzoned/have no interest in girls/the extreme, him being "that g*y bestfriend", which obv isn't the case in this story

Well, with this being set up, it'll be interesting to see if now Ichinose on the final exam mangages to defeat Ayanokoji's class. I doubt he'll intervene in the exam like he didn't in this one.

Here's my theory: he's gonna make kei break up with him. Idk if you read this volume, but at 11:16, he knew what he was saying and doing was wrong, but still did it anyway. Also, through their relationship, kei kept mentioning how she won't abide cheating. My theory is that ayanokoji will give the appearance that he is cheating, kei will ask him, he won't confirm nor deny it, like he usually does for questions, and then kei will break up with him.

Tbh I think he's going to see what kei does now after he does all this stuff with other women but I think at the end of it none of them are like kei plus with what he said he want to know how it feels and with the knowledge I got from watching vol 0 I think his goal is for him to gain emotions in the 3 years he's been there that's what the goals is to gain emotion that the teacher in the white room said he can't get and I think that's why in his mind thought this series he always saying he going to go back at the end ( I also hope at some point his allys and people he's help confront him and he somehow gains an awaking to feeling and crys and laughs by the end)
