10:10 Queen to d6, it's a check. Black has two moves:- 1) King takes the queen on d6. White bishop takes black bishop on c3 which is a discovered check by rook to the black king. If king moves to a different square then our bishop takes black queen. If queen defends the king by coming on d5, rook will simply take queen and rook is defended by our pawn so king can't capture. Now, 2) If king moves back to e8, queen just takes rook. Thank you for bearing with me. (Also I'm a low rated player and used stockfish for this analysis. No way i could find this on my own)
@@Deaddev1The move they are discussing is moving the white queen literally one place to the right (from white’s perspective). It prevents the black king moving forward on the 6th rank, left to the D file, or diagonal to f8.
Answer to puzzle 1. Qd6+!! The king has to capture the queen or black loses its rook, therefore ....Kxd6 White plays 2. Bxc3+ winning a bishop and it is a discovered check to the king by the rook. (Black's queen cannot capture the bishop as it's king is in check) After the king escapes to any square ....Ke6 , then white simply captures the queen on A5 with the bishop 3. Bxa5 ! White will be left with an extra bishop ( +3 points )
Sure white keeps his bishop pair but in the first place, black have extra piece so when this puzzle is solved, white manage to equalized the game and keep its bishop pair.
Chess is such a beautiful game, this game can be applied in life too. Your world changes when you start viewing life as a chess game. No wonder Bobby Fischer said "chess is life" , its true in every sense.
@@collinsedegbai1527 The meaning was intended to be that life is like chess, you need to make certain moves which can be complicated in order to win. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. but you need to embrace your mistakes and learn from it to become better. Once you master life, you start to become good at everything and nothing can stop you from doing what you desire, just like chess.
In the puzzle at the end, Qd6+ is the best move. If the Black King takes the White Queen, then Bxc3 is a discovered check because of the Rook on d1. After the Black King moves, Bxa5. The end result would be a Queen trade and a free Bishop for White. On the other hand if the Black King does not take the Queen after Qd6+, White can take the Black Rook on b8 for free.
I thought White queen to D5, black cannot take the queen without losing it’s own queen. White queen can take the black pawn after, it’s check mate. Black has to move the king. Then the white queen can take the rook

Especially the one at 8:00 was very useful. My 660 rapid mind didn't even see the opportunity of Bishop taking the black pawn with a check. Many of us get stressed by the immediate threat - in this example to our knight - and that may result in blind spots and missing opportunities to win extra material.
Tbh, I always see that kind if thing. But seriously it's so hard for me to realize where knights moves. I just blunder a lot of time because of a knight.

Puzzle :- Qd6+ if king takes then Bxc3+ discovered check by rook , if Qd5 , we can take his queen with the pawn either with the rook. We still have the advantage of one bishop . if king doesn't take the queen, we will take his rook.
I thought -- I'll move Q to f3 threatening his bishop at C3 and hence saving my own rook at h1. Becoz if he still goes ahead with Bb7 I'll take his Q but your move is better.
Wow, I think way too defensively... My thought process went in the direction of Rc1 to attack the bishop, and if the bishop moves then taking the queen, but I just realized that's inefficient and one-track-minded
I have mastered checkers, I was nearly undefeatable even by the smart kids in my classes, now I’m going to do the same, I don’t just want to beat people I want to humiliate them like I did in checkers
Thanks, Chess Talk! This was a really excellent thinking strategy. I’ll be sure to use it with each and every move. I think my biggest weakness in chess is my defence. I am so wrapped up in defending each player, whether it be from the weakest Pawn to the strongest Queen, that I forget to make my advances. I miss so many good opportunities, but with this strategy, I can even things out a ton and get my play back on track.
"It might seem like we are spending too much time on every move". We gotta learn to walk before we can run. My issue is I don't spend enough time thinking about my moves and blunder too much. I didn't have any systematic thinking process. Now I can start learning. Thanks!
Thank you very much for the SWOT technique qnd the answer of the puzzle is Qd6 if king takes the BxC3 check from the rook and when the king moves we can take the queen and we will be a piece up , and if the king doesn't takes the queen then we can simply take black's rook on B8
Puzzle answer 10:11: white have huge advantage here...Best is white queen D-6 give attacking king on E-3 and figure on B-8 same time...if he take queen, you take d-2 to c3, making suprise attacking king again with D-1figure , he need to move king or defend with queen(is same result on the end), you take qeen. so he lost bishop and queen, you lost only queen what is good trade and best what can black take...if he not take queen he gonna lose rook on B8 for free and lose chance to win game.If is black move he have check-mate in two moves, just take bishop c-3 to d-2 forcing rook to take bishop, than black rook play B-8 to B-1.

Qd6+ the king has to take because his rook is hanging .after the king takes our queen we will play b*c3+.it is a discovered check.after the king moves we will take the queen .we got a queen, bishop for a queen
You cannot play Bishop to c3 because that exposes the king to the black Bishop, the only move you can perform with the Bishop is capturing the black Bishop but since he is well defended it is a nonsensical move
The best move to perform in this scenario is to move to perform in my opinion is to move Bishop f1 to g2 to create more space to maneuver and to create a defensive line for the White rook and the White Queen
@@bomboclat4817 u r wrong , u hv not analysed correctly Better to understand, arrange this pieces in a chess board the same way n try wat he is saying, u will see it makes sense , Wen he first given the Queen, king will eat it n move forward So u now eat the Bishop with yr Bishop, but wen u move ur Bishop it becomes under check as there is a rook at the line , so it will move its king n so yr next move is capture its queen , n u exchanged a queen for queen n Bishop So u got the advantage N if the king doesn't eat at first yr queen then u can take the rook for free , So u either get a rook or Bishop for free from this move

@@Animfinity That's fine. Otherwise black has checkmate threats in 2 3 moves. If you play something else he will capture the bishop with check, forcefully you have to capture with rook and he's coming with Rb1 checkmate.
Thanks for this SWOT trick which i had never thought of before. The best move for the puzzle will be: Qd6-> giving check as well forking rook. The best move for white will be to capture queen. Bc3->capturing bishop giving check by rook also threatening to capture queen. If black tries to save his queen by doing Qd5 then our rook can capture without threats of being recaptured back as our pawn on c4 is supporting it.
First Qd6 giving sacrifice our queen King captures queen on d6 then Bishop captures bishop on c3 Giving check to black then king can go anywhere we captures his queen in this way we give our queen and take his queen and bishop both
Hi advani! Your chess coaching is splendid. My move will be qd6 k×qd6, else queen can capture rb8. If king captures qd6, then i can, simply capture bc3, opening chech to black king, and double attack on queen as well. He have to save his king, then his sweety is gone. White and black peices are equal, from here i can easily win this game with your teaching tricks and tactics. Thankyou advani. Thumps up for you and your team.. 👍

1) Qd6+ Kxd6
2) Bxc3(discovered check by R) (the worst move by black would be King's escape) Qd5

4) Rxd5 Kxd5
"Before reacting to anything just ask yourself, should I react to this? Is it even necessary to react to this? That's an important question to ask. Not only in chess but even in life."
This man is out here teaching me life lessons.
So simple and SO helpful! Thanks for the lesson! I think my game just improved.
This is what I wanted' I used to be very confused...thanks jeetendra after watching this video I will definitely apply this thinking method on my next game but it takes time to improve
The answer to the puzzle is the dark squired bishop to g5 as it gives a checkmate!
It can’t
White’s king would be in check
So Kc3 can’t be moved
I think chess talk is a very important channel from begineers to 2200 player.
Thank you for using the SWOT analysis it help me understand the system in my business class better. Have a great day.
The SWAT is jealous
Education multitasking :D
why is this so calming and relaxing?
His voice I guess.. I find the Indian accent docile and calming as well.. On the contrary, listening to some accents like Russian can cause internal bleeding
@@96seya "Internal bleeding". Hahahahaha! Thanks for the chuckle.
@@96seya what are you saying indian accent isn't calming at all, see my vids I'm indian too & my vids are MAD

@@skeletoneagle7886 you are just a kid and need some practice you need to think in English in order to speak fluently and learn a great amount of vocabulary to express yourself correctly, I recommend buying norman lewis' Word Power Made Easy... read some English books(story, novels, comics or manga for fun if you cannot concentrate, etc..) regularly for 1 or 2 hr besides the school's textbooks then you could speak naturally.... hope it helps
Thank you so much! This kinda helped me and for the puzzle. It helped me see some things and the SWOT is kinda big help! Thank you, you earned a like!
Thank you. This was understandable and I like how you thought about the strengths and weaknesses before you made the official move.
Qd6+ k×d6 force otherwise white capture his rook and simple win. After k× d6 Bishop capture bishop and check and also win his queen
what why no
Him:should I react to this?
Me: panicking the whole time
Puzzle : trade bishop first then opponent queen takes our bishop and checks our king we simply defend with rook to d2 the take queen to c5 check ,king has 3 possible moves go to e8, f6 or d7 ,if opponent did not choose e8 then we are likely to win . This plan works
I think this is the best video for learning for me
I was having a hard time understanding the gambits but thanks to this now I know how.
Thanks a lot for this great tips! I have a chess competition after few days. So I hope these strategies could help me.
And in your another video, you said "don't be upset for losing a piece in chess, it is just a game so enjoy it" I like that sentence you said.
My thinking is completely changed forever in this video
Sometimes it's good to sacrifice pawns not to use as bait, but to clear out space
Gambits use this advantage
I wanted to learn some strategies so I can beat my boyfriend, who is also a beginner, and I thought it would be a whole bunch of difficult plays to memorize. But these videos are the perfect level for me to understand the concepts of what to do without having to study something that's too confusing or advanced. Thank you for making these!!
I wish I was ur boyfriend.u will be mated with a check.
I don't think you should literally start memorizing plays at beginner level
I'm going home for Christmas where I usually play my brother at chess, I've never beaten him so I'm going to make sure I change that when I get back 😅
How did it go?
@@thomashughes4414 lol..not bad actually. Was much more competitive and actually beat him twice out of maybe about eight or so games, so didn't make me better than him but an improvement and the games were closer.
Used this video, amongst others and practiced on the app.
glad to hear it, i hope you find happiness in your life :)
I love your videos and it helps me to improve in chess
Thanks to you Chess Talk
Sir sometimes opponent do different move....
But I luv your videos very much....
Sir please make a video on owen's defence and all variations
And thanks for providing us such a great content
Qd6+ the king has to take because his rook is hanging .after the king takes our queen we will play b*c3+.it is a discovered check.after the king moves we will take the queen .we got a queen, bishop for a queen
If queen blocks the check that given by rook.
We want to loose our rook.
@@bomboclat4817 u r wrong , u hv not analysed correctly
Better to understand, arrange this pieces in a chess board the same way n try wat he is saying, u will see it makes sense ,
Wen he first given the Queen, king will eat it n move forward
So u now eat the Bishop with yr Bishop, but wen u move ur Bishop it becomes under check as there is a rook at the line , so it will move its king n so yr next move is capture its queen , n u exchanged a queen for queen n Bishop
So u got the advantage
N if the king doesn't eat at first yr queen then u can take the rook for free ,
So u either get a rook or Bishop for free from this move
@@legendarygaming3358 we can take queen with pawn too
trade the bishops then the black queen take ur bishop then place ur white queen to d6 then d8 mate
Great tip and mindset thank you. "Should I react to this" 👍
hes teaching is next level... i want to be magnus !
Ur channel is amazing. These chess videos have improved my skills. Thanks a lot.
Please make more such beautiful chess videos.
PS: Please try to make videos on chess grandmasters like Vishy Anand,Bobby Fischer, Mikhail Tal,
Gary Kasparov, because they have played some extraordinary chess matches from which we can learn a lot.
I love the part where you say that it also applies to life. You've earned a new subscriber!
For puzzle
Queen D6
king will capture queen
Then bishop capture bishops( c3 check)
There is no good move for BLACK PLAYER.
He will lose his queen
Wow! didnt see that
Yeah obviously....
This is the only way to defend i can see, because he has very serious threats to checkmate in 2 3 moves.
But we will also lose our queen thats where we will mess up the game
@@Animfinity That's fine. Otherwise black has checkmate threats in 2 3 moves.
If you play something else he will capture the bishop with check, forcefully you have to capture with rook and he's coming with Rb1 checkmate.
Thanks for this SWOT trick which i had never thought of before.
The best move for the puzzle will be:
Qd6-> giving check as well forking rook.
The best move for white will be to capture queen.
Bc3->capturing bishop giving check by rook also threatening to capture queen.
If black tries to save his queen by doing Qd5 then our rook can capture without threats of being recaptured back as our pawn on c4 is supporting it.
👏👏👏
The puzzle answer : Queen to D5 would be the best move.. It is defended by pawn in C4, attacks the black queen in A5 and defends the Bishop in D2.
no queen to d6
is the best move
If he took queen by king bishop takes on c3 rook check his queen also gone.but if he didn't took his rook is gone

@@eshanprasad3594 hello where are you from
This helped me in my recent games I've been doing a bunch of 1 day 3 day and 7day games so that I can take more time and work on this type of thinking
First Qd6 giving sacrifice our queen King captures queen on d6
then Bishop captures bishop on c3
Giving check to black then king can go anywhere we captures his queen in this way we give our queen and take his queen and bishop both
If you check King then King moves to e8 then what will you do?
@@ahmedfaisal3181 Capture the rook with the Queen.
How is that a check?
@@kane7930 bcoz as bishop goes off and d file will get opens for rook which gives a check to black king
Amazingly well explained, thanks for the knowledge!
Thank you so much!! This method is incredible!
