The window dive scene is one of my favorite scenes in any movie. It's so perfect, thank you for including the clip.
I like it too, but for me the best were when Scott loses track of time and "teleports" from one place (and time) to another (I hope you understand which parts i mean).

It's weird seeing Scott not talking in character. It makes look more mature some how.
My favorite character is Kim, especially when she played the drum enthusiastically after Scott apologized to her.
I never knew this movie bombed. I thought it was a huge success considering I heard so many people talk about it. I loved it, too.
James is so the best host ever. Talking when he need to help the guys keep track of the conversation, asking questions that he knows the answer but just let the others talks more...I mean he is a genius

Loved the ending commentary with Tony. Also think James missed a lot of the point of Scott, and how he's supposed to be unlikable, at least at the beginning, which is called out by Nega Scott, who is "a really nice guy".
Nega Scott are the mistakes he made but try to forget, such as moving away without telling Kim or his fight with Envy. Scott is supposed to be unlikable. When he finally confronts Nega Scott, he accepts his mistakes. Anyways. Sorry.

I can't remember what movie I was in when we got a preview for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, but me and my friends new immediately that we would have to see it when it came out. And we did. We loved it and watched it several times since (although only one kept going to the theater to see it) and now it is easily the most quoted movie among my friends. The "cleaning lady" joke is still hilarious every time. It's still my favorite movie nearly 10 years later and probably largely because it came out at the perfect time in my life and now I can just watch it any time and still enjoy every moment.
James goes like: "Yeah..."
Scott goes like: "Yeah..."

I remember not being mentally prepared when I saw this film in theaters. I know I was sober, so that made it more confusing. I do agree with James though. Kim Pine was the best character.

Universal licence to Ubisoft expired. They are the ones "to blame" for the game not being available anymore. (I have it on my Xbox 360 ;)
I still have it on my ps3. Still one of my favorite beat'em up games.
It's a real shame what happened to it after release. It seems like they were given almost no budget after the fact. It launched with game breaking bugs that made multiplayer a huge pain in the ass, and even with the dlc patches, these never got fixed. They did however add online co-op to the game 3 years later, but it was locked behind the second dlc pack. As you can imagine it was dead on arrival.
The dlc was also pretty disappointing. Wallace is just a Steven clone, Knives is a Kim clone, and the volleyball mini game wasn't very good.
I'd kill for a polished up rerelease, but its looking unlikely.

I always thought the title "Scott Pillgrim VS the World" was a reference to the second Simpsons game on Nes(Bart Vs The World)
It is, only one of the novels had that title and it most likely is a reference to that because of all the retro game nods the series does.

It bombed because it launched the same weekend as The Expendables. I saw it day of in theaters and most in line for tickets at the time were there for Expendables which did extremely well.

Kick-Ass was my favorite movie that year until Scott Pilgrim came out
If you guys like Kick-Ass, check out Super. Came out at the same time with a similar premise but handles it much better imo. It's directed by James Gunn so if you like the humour of Guardians of the Galaxy you will most likely enjoy this movie as well.

I think that is the main reason they went from 4 guys down to 3, because they talked over each other a lot, however I didn't notice it, I'm not gonna rewatch it to see but it wasn't something I noticed and you're probably right because James doesn't seem to I don't want to say assert himself but doesn't really project strongly about these movies he didn't like.

So there is this theory that dark side of the moon by Pink Floyd was made to be played alongside the wizard of Oz you can see examples of this like when Dorothy is in the tornado and you could hear the screams from brain damage and Darkside of the moon. And a director of Scott Pilgrim versus the world is a big Smashing Pumpkins fan. So they think that he made the film to be played along side Mellon collie and the infinite sadness by the smashing pumpkins. You can see examples of this like when at the beginning when Scott Pilgrim and jamming out and the escalation of tonight tonight on Mellon collie. But also keep in mind this is just a theory. There are also points where it doesn’t match up. Like at the end of bullet with butterfly wings the visuals don’t match the escalation of the music. So this is just a theory but this is a theory that I believe in and I think it’s pretty interesting. Sidenote Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by the Smashing Pumpkins is one of the best albums of all time.

They forgot to mention that Brandon Routh, aka SUPERMAN is also in this. He plays the vegan bassist with super powers.
That bass battle was epic and the bass song playing is the intro of around the world by red hot chili peppers
And that character was a parody of Goku and Super Saiyans from Dragonball, which is basically Japan's Superman
And Thomas Jane aka the Punisher takes his vegan powers away.

I honestly had no idea the movie bombed. A friend took me as a birthday gift opening day, the theater was packed with other fans. The over all positive energy and light hearted joking, it was truly an awesome expirience.
Tony's part in the end made this whole video much better.

Yeah he just gave us a glimpse of what a much better episode could have been. Like when you see the original concept art for Dune and wish you could watch that version.
Scott slowly starts to becomes a better person through out the novels, and the movie did Scott an injustice.

I see people ragging on Scott but I think Scott did okay. You can tell he was nervous and he is the featured guest so his opinions got across. There were times that he got interrupted as well. The dynamic worked fine in the end.

This movie deserves more credit than it got.
The movie is great, but unfortunately, it *does* gloss over plenty of Scott's development as a character. Everything that he does gets address later on and he truly grows.
Without having the context of the books, the movie admittedly falls flat in some areas.
