- UPDATE: June 8, 2024 - Noa Argamani was rescued, along with three other hostages, by Israeli security forces during a daytime raid in central Gaza.
NBC News foreign correspondent Raf Sanchez examines the case of 26-year-old Noa Argamani, who became one of the faces of the hostage crisis after video of her abduction from the Supernova festival spread across social media. Despite the release of more than a hundred hostages in November in a deal that included most women and children, Noa’s whereabouts-and those of nearly all of the hostages taken from the festival-remain unknown.

All most Israelis talks about is HAMAS. The hostages families have been pushed to the side. They are protesting there because of it.

It tells me everything about a man that hurts a woman or plays with her life. I thought it’s common sense that during wars you don’t touch woman, children and the elderly. But these monsters decide to capture the most weak and vulnerable ones and play with their lives. What a disgrace.

The aim of Hamas's action was to break through the unoccupied Israeli border fences in order to take Israeli hostages as a bargaining chip to secure the release of its own prisoners in Israel in a prisoner exchange.
Violent Palestinian civilians (possibly hired by warmongers) who had travelled with them committed bloody acts of violence.
And the Hamas fighters did not try to prevent this.
They thus gave Israel a reason for war. It is likely that this action by Hamas was knowingly abused by warmongers. And Hamas, which can only think of violence as a means of asserting its own interests, did not foresee or see through this coup.

One point : Noa wasn't the only one documented in an ordinary house that day. Sisters Dafna, 15,and Ela, 8, were also documented in 2 photos inside Gaza, sitting on mattresses in what seemed like an ordinary house.
I believed they, and her, were taken by civilians, and I was worried about whether they'll be released.
On the contrary to Noa, they were, thankfully, released to their mother (their father, step mother, and step brother were murdered that day).
I do hope Noa is freed in time to see her mother.
Most were in houses. There are very few reporting ever being in a tunnel, they'd moved from house to house. Something by now IDF is well aware of but keeps pushing the narrative of tunnels while they bomb houses and apartments

How much money were these civilians paid to take these hostages? This was one of the first clips I saw when I looked on RUclips at the breaking news of the October 7th massacre, I felt sick seeing how terrified she was and I can say in my 54 years I have never seen anything quite so repulsive and heartbreaking in my entire life. My soul broke that day and I lost all faith in humanity. Unfortunatly I fear for her safety, I do not think many of these hostages are still alive, however I pray they are and for the safe return of all of them. ❤

lol, I've seen many things that are more repulsive than a former IDF soldier taken hostage in an attack. For example, a Palestinian father holding his headless child in Rafah masssacre, Hind Rajab's cry for help in the car, waiting for hours between dead bodies of her family, and she was killed by israeli regime. The young boy whom has been severly tortured in israeli prisons saying i wish i was dead, the women, losing her baby, which she took years of injection to have a baby, crying. I prayed for her a lot of times and now she is free. That is really brilliant. During the time of prayer at the beginning, I got ill as well, but that was good as I imagined then how she must be feeling.

I have went down a rabbit hole with videos and stories from this sad sad day😢 I have a daughter who just turned 27 this year so I can only image what her family is going through. My love and prayers are with them all ❤ Thank you God for our country, land of the free home of the brave.

I wonder if the hostages who came back knew how the world was praying for them and searching for them? The people who have no uniform on are Gazans. No offense. How about the Israeli father who lost his 26 year old son? At the hands of the IDF. While being half naked, unarmed, and waiving a white flag with SOS in Hebrew, waiving it in front of their faces? What HAMAS did is terrible. That was even more terrible. Imagine being held hostage, you escape your captors who haven’t killed you at this point, you see your countrymen, you do everything you can and they chase and gun you down at first sight. No chance of even a conversation. No military personnel even care to show up to that proud 26 year old Israelis funeral. That man, Israeli man, is living that nightmare everyday now. Who do you think he dislikes more? Who do you think he holds more accountable? To me, those 3 hostages are the faces of Israel. Those parents as well. Hope she comes home. Those 3 were gunned down by the men who swore to bring them home. I pray the senseless killing can stop. People are shooting their own hostages at this point!

A correction needs to be made... When you talk about the exchange of women and children between Israel and the Palestinians, there is a BIG difference: first of all, Israeli children are real children 9 months, 3, 9, 12 years old.. etc... ordinary children and women are civilians whom Hamas simply stole from their homes. These Palestinian "children" are life-threatening teenage criminals, and the women are just female criminals too, imprisoned by the LAW!
Ok well i know one of the girls out of the original group won't be turned over. Her death was all over the news. And it was graphic. They didn't show how it happned but showed the end result. She was from Germany. Her mother was talking on tv. She died the day the attack happned and parts of her skull have been found.
The video of this girl has haunted me. On 07.10, unedited videos appeared on IG. I prayed and hoped for her survival plus the other girl with " greased" pyjamas. It was so tragic when her death was confirmed. There is no comparison between this positive and happy dancing girl and the torture she went through. May The Almighty comfort her family.
