This is the nicest ever interview I watched from Karan Thapar. How he has unfolded step by step, the coveted meeting of an Ex intelligence officer with Mr.Abdullah. A staged interview, as Karan knew to ask nitty gritty details like knowing that Mr. Dulat had lunch and Mrs. Abdullah offered him a choice of 2 soups. Unless it's an intelligence leak, how would Karan know these precisely.
Good thing he didn't ask if the soup was served in porcelain bowls or melamine.
This interview looks like the "coming out" version of Mr. Dulat's Kashmir visit and the public's debriefing by Karan.

Karan, thank you for a revelation. Whatever doubts I had have been cleared that many who are RAW are unpolished gems who served and still serve. During PM Desai’s tenure, the dismantling of the agency was a detrimental step. Can you imagine if the next POTUS will even want to dismantle the CIA? We hope that the present dispensation will use them more appropriately for our sake. Mr Dulat is a wonderfully clear-headed citizen who can help in starting a very gainful exchange for all our sake.

Mr. Dulat has been so apologetic to Abdullahs, and more interestingly to Pakistan for abrogation of 370. He also professed that Omor would be chief minister and talked about free will of Kashmirs. Funny! Could not believe he was RAW chief, looked after India's interest sometime in the past! Mr. Dulat you and I know when Kashmiri Pandits were thrown out of the valley - it was under Mr. Abdullah's watch and you are so full of praise for Abdullahs! Thank God, these kind of people are no more involved in our government.
