Which woodchuck was it, granny smith(green), amber(red), or semi-dry(orange)? The amber is the original and pretty sweet, I prefer the Granny Smith if I’m going with woodchuck.
My all-time favourite Hard Apple Cider is TK's Scrumpy an organic orchard out of Michigan and tastes like an explosion of fermenting apples bubbling in your mouth, absolutely amazing 🍏
Harder to get, but the best bought cider (IMHO) is Growers Cider out of south-central British Columbia (the Okanogan valley). They make dozens of ciders including a pear cider (of which I am not a fan... because it's pear) and my favorite is their MacIntosh Apple Cider for that amazing and unmistakable aroma of MacIntosh apples. Now I'm in Oregon and have to make my own from my own MacIntosh apple tree. 5 gallons nearly ready from this year's harvest. :) Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider is the best U.S. brand and variety of commercially available cider that I've found.
You really need to try some Henry Westons vintage or Theakstons Old Rose, I wouldn't touch any of those ciders you rated with a barge pole haha! Most of those havn't seen a real apple in their life, just apple concentrate and you can tell the difference as they have a kinda metallic twang to them and taste artificial.
You should try aspall suffolk cider its awsome stuff so much better than those cheap Stella n strongbow things its proppa draught cider.. brilliant idea guys all the best
Lol I bought a few to try for cooking and obviously nothing perfect but a lot of sevens can there be a little type of dif from the better ones I’m even thinking of mixing a few for cooking lol thanks
The very best hands down is Woodchuck Amber. The other woodchuck flavors are not near so good. Strongbow Golden is a strong second. Stella Cidre would take 3rd. Angry orchard is just nasty.
Magners is without a doubt the best widely available cider out there! There are some really good artisan ciders out there (Citizen Cider) but I always go back to Magners! Especially ice cold on tap. Angry Orchard is swill in my book, refuse to drink it. It’s the Budweiser of cider, people drink it because it’s their only choice.

All these ciders are piss water. They're just awful. I'm dubious if any of these have any real quantity of apples in them. They're full of water, sweetners and artificial flavours.

Aldi makes the knock-off of Angry Orchard called Wicked Grove... which is very good
I really like it, its got much more of a fruity taste than Angry Orchard
Excelsior by Shilling is my favorite and it's 8.3%. It's tart and makes my mouth water after each sip. Ohhhh I want one right now.

Hornsby cider is the only cider I would rate higher than angry orchard and stella has a surprisingly good cidre

Johnny Apple seed is a honey Apple and redds Apple ale are 2 other ciders I never tryed . Only the angry crisp Apple I have tryed
Johnny Appleseed is good cider, and it's usually priced well. It's just hard to find in my area. Stella Artois Cidre is still my favorite though.
