Wow, how is no one talking about 4:48, where godfrey kills Morgott and starts winning against Mohg, then music changes and Mogh wips out NIHHIIILLLL, and starts to dominate Godfrey. Perfection.
@Liam Valhyr Lol no, if using base stats and enabling Nihil Mohg wipes most main game bosses besides Fire Giant, Maliketh and Radagon PURELY because he’s an optional fight designed to be harder than the main bosses. He gives you the around the same amount of runes as Malenia for a reason. Only time he loses is when fun shenanigans like this happens where Godfey starts in his strongest form and Mohg loses Nihil. Mohg is a powerhouse and only looses when his trademark Nihil is disabled.

@@skyfire299 you do realise Godfrey conquered Farum Azula and that Stormveil wasn't even built in the first years of the erdtree, the knights in Stormveil are literally the same guys that are in Farum Azula and Crucible knights are found in Farum Azula for a reason, Serosh was also from Farum Azula, as we see some statues that look exactly like him in Farum Azula, its very likely they all sided with him after he defeated Placidusax. Its also very likely the reason why the ancient dragons attacked Leyndell

I like the final round where Godfrey just slowly walks up to the twins fighting each other and ended up just destroying both of them. It's like a dad breaking up siblings fighting
The dialogue and into is something you'd here from mortal Kombat and honestly it's cool I also love that Godfrey just ragdolls his children like they're nothing
After pretty much finishing the game I just have a soft spot for Morgott and Mohg. I'm not sure why Mohg just comes across so cuddly to me. I don't think he's meant to lol. He just has love (and nihil) to offer everyone 😂
If anything I felt like if the circumstances were different morgott and I could have been fighting along side each other as brothers in arms I felt and odd kinship with him the minute I saw his first cut scene
When morgott is at like 20% of his health, he starts using all the deadly combos such as flurries. Is it possible to make him fight like that from the very start of the battle?
@@narommalagonmorales2663 I think he's referring to Morgott's special combo he utilizes at low HP. It's similar to how Godfrey/Hoarah Loux will only try Regal Roar/Earthshaker after taking some damage.
Mohg's NIHIL did not work in Round 3, or am I crazy? Also, why was Godfrey hitting Mohg for 1100-1700 with his basic attacks in Hoarah Loux form such as in Round 4? In every other video I've seen, he hits him for half that. Did you double his damage?

He tweaks the hell out of settings. I don’t like watching it because he will remove a few small things or increase the aggression of a boss or bosses to make the fight look more appealing. It’s cool and all but don’t take these results to heart. Nihil appeared to do about 30% of Godfrey’s health with one hit meaning in the 3 hit cycle he is doing 80-90% health. Maybe he did that to remove bleed. I’ve never seen Nihil do that much damage against bosses sometimes players if they have low health and other such stats.
Godfrey seeing his kids fight each other and doing the angry dad walk towards them before beating the crap out of them to break it up is probably the greatest thing I’ve ever seen.
You should also try seeing how Godfrey fares if he doesn't change forms and instead starts the fight with full aggression and attacks. (the same when he's lost over 25% of his hp)
No offense to GPOL or you, but it feels like this exact premise has been on your channel about three times now. Also, Nihil seems to do player-based percentages of damage (about 30-33%), whereas bleed damage on bosses tends to use smaller percentages. It would be nice if you elaborated on how Nihil was made to work here and if the boss bleed factor was weighed in. The fights themselves are nice, but the premise feels repetitive. Maybe, for a future video, you could see if Roundtable Knight Vyke would be capable of defeating the false Mohg to access the Three Fingers? Such a fight would effectively test if Vyke could truly defeat an enemy that, if always down there, he needed to beat to achieve what happened in the lore.
nihil was the only thing keeping godfrey from winning every time (and first round could have gone either way, even with the strong morgott buff). Godfrey really is just built different
You know if a time traveler tripped over a rock i could totally see this happening. The shunned brothers make a wrongful stand against their father who has to defend the realm so he has to stop them even tho this is marika's fault
This fight proved one thing: Godwyn can come back but as a cursed birth like Morgott and Mogh. He is trapped in the cursed realm and I think unfortunately for him to return you have to fulfill dungeaters quest.
I’m confused as to why Godfrey is immune to bleed and deals about 3X more damage than Mohg (when they’re both endgame bosses), and why Nihil did minimal damage to Godfrey in most of these bouts. Last I checked Godfrey is pretty susceptible to bleed. It feels a little engineered in Godfrey’s favour
False. Lore-wise, he does well, but Mohg is extremely powerful. Godfrey may have been Elden Lord, but Mohg is the equivalent for the Formless Mother's plans.

@@varenwilson1514 The Fire Giants were fought by Godfrey, Godfrey's barbarians, Marika's followers, both Numen and mundane, the Crucible Knights and their followers, the Zamor warriors, the Fire Monks, and the Trolls, with all of them blessed by the Erdtree at its height and with Marika aiding them, at an absolute minimum. There is no indication that the Greater Will is the strongest Outer God, just the Outer God currently dominant in the Lands Between, and that's because it sent at least two gods, a number of lesser proxies, and at least one way of imposing its power on the entire Lands Between. Also, even if the Greater Will was stronger, that doesn't mean that Godfrey's stronger, because power of an entity=/=power of that entities servants. The fact of the matter is, in-game Mohg is roughly as strong as Godfrey, and that's the best, and only, source for how strong he is in the lore. Also, Mohg is Godfrey's son, and is both an omen (and we both know how much stronger omens are than normal humans) and directly empowered by the Formless Mother. There is nothing saying that Godfrey should be stronger than him.

The only way that the greater will would be dominant over the lands between is because its influence is than all other outer gods. The formless mother and others like the rot God are more akin to the elden beast which the greater will controls. The best way to think of it is that the greater will is similar to a biblically accurate God being omnipotent, and the other outer gods are more like HP Lovecraft gods aswell as Norse and Greek mythology gods, they're still gods but they don't have the same level of omnipotence
