Facebook does it everyday. Advertisers do it every single day, but when normal people try to catch criminal in this world or to protect themselves or to stop a predator/harasser then it is the victim who is the criminal.
I was recently covertly voice recorded while test driving a customers car. Having a bad day and went on a little rant to myself about him and his vehicle as he’s a bit of a problematic customer. Note that I was alone in the vehicle and thought I was speaking privately. Do I have any legal grounds for action ? Thank you
yeah, i don't think it's legal for anyone to record someone and they not actually be there themselves. You were the only party in the vehicle. And you did not consent. Therefore, I'm assuming any state would look at that as illegal.
But what if my banker doesnt tell me about hidden fees and it costs me my life saving when i specifically ask about hidden fees or other downsides of banking with them?
Lol fuck california. I should be able to record my own conversation with someone. I understand that it is a violation if you plant a recording device and then leave. That's totally different and sneaky as hell.

What about customer recording a business for getting the info and prove of contrast, and if was honor. with out there knowing.
What about if I'm wearing my camera glasses and recording a cop who just pulled me over?
How about 1 consent state?
I'm wondering if I can screen shot a conversion
This sounds like a Lotta fiction to me
Is this just in California? or the whole country?
