1:49 Aura is a great company. Also, AT&T has Active Armor for their customers because of the breach. It gave me the name and address of the one gentleman who has used my social security number. It gives you a VPN and well over 260 companies that you can have your information checked and removed. Every day, they add new companies for you to add for them to check.
It's free to AT&T customers if you can't afford some of these other companies. I know times are tough for us. The more people in your family you add, the more the price goes up. We have 6 on our plan. The only downside to Active Armor is the number of email addresses you may add. But it's still good if it's just for you.

I'm almost 58 and I can remember when we could walk in schools, churches, etc with no hassle. I know, who wants to listen a father and gramps like me?
To be fair the internet has changed things. Back in the day, if someone was filming somewhere, it was most likely the news or other media entities. Their footage most likely was not going to be seen by potentially the whole world.
With the internet and the ease of access everyone has; you can be filmed on quite possibly the worst day of your life, and everyone can see it instantly. So it’s understandable if there’s a little bit of anxiety and hesitation when being filmed.
For the record, I support audits. But I also try and be a little understanding when people act emotionally sometimes.

I agree that the schools aren't developing achievers, they are raising a generation of "that's good enough, it doesn't really matter" individuals. It all started with everyone gets a trophy. It's devastating to our communities and work environments. They need to teach pride in accomplishment and it's ok to excel .

The theme, as always, is fear. But fear of what?? Answer: THE LOSS OF CONTROL. 'I fear not what I can control'. This is true, especially for women. If someone's insecurity is so great, that they call THE POLICE for absolutely nothing, then it's time to reconsider working for the public in public spaces. This major character flaw should be weeded out by a thorough interview process when hiring for these type of positions in the public sector. That's my advice for what it's worth.

Josh I see you were focused on talking about the re-testing and you're right it is a thing but I just want to point out to you that the difference between when we we were in school and the kids going to school now is that school is heavily focused on standardized testing now. The test scores mean more to the district than the actual education of the kids. What I've noticed and especially since covid and the lockdown happened is that teachers are willing to put kids through to the next grade even if they really didn't understand the information and didn't do well. It's a scarlet letter on the teacher and the school to have kids failing and being held back. Those test scores dictate the housing market because if it's a top notch school in a good district houses are worth more money. The more money the houses are worth, the more taxes they can charge, the more taxes they charge the more funding for the school. Teachers jobs are on the line depending on the standardized testing scores and ultimately the scores make them money. Sadly you will find few school district administrators that are truly focused on the kids education, it's all about making money for the school and there's a trickle down effect when the teachers are pressured to produce or else. I live in NY & nyc public schools has kids who don't even speak the language thrown into classrooms with teachers who can't communicate with the kids and yet are expected to not only educate them but to get them to pass the grade and score well on these tests. Sorry so long but just food for thought. I just want you to realize it's really not about coddling the kids to make a more inclusive environment so everyone passes and feels good about themselves, NO, it's WAY more nefarious intentions that trickle down the line that all lead back to money, sadly!

27:28 OH, they over-inflate the budget. That way, cuts can be made because they are foreseen. The administrative costs in government schools are extremely bloated. They could run the schools on so much less. It’s just like healthcare.
It's seems most of the bldgs you've visited lately need to have a weight requirement due too the sounds emanating from the floor boards and stair ways. Signage would notify occupancy of occupied conference rooms while private meetings are in sessions.

When Government, Corporate employees call police, law enforcement (Policy enforcement) for something that is a protected right, it's a false claim and would there not be a right to file a claim for false claim against those that called for false claims? Lawsuits against Governments?
The assessors office assesses the value of your property and tells you how much taxes to pay. So it’s very important that they’re good at accurate information. And clearly this woman is not good and accurate information.
