Folks, we mixed up that infotainment and gauge cluster number! Our bad! The Staria Premium+ AWD comes with an 8-inch infotainment system while its gauge cluster is 10.25 inches. Not the other way around!
My dad's Grand Starex is still running, and i have a lot of memories in that car. Now that I have a family of my own, this maybe the van I'm looking for. was supposed to get like the 7 seater mpvs like the expander, stargazer, br-v etc. but upon testing them out, it lacks power. This looks so adequate and just so practical. Love the large windows too!
Man I have 3 kids and looks like this is a better choice than a SUV like one of my choices Everest. SUV nowadays looks very ordinary and amateur vehicle.
I agree this huge monolith is good for a family of 5, but if you cant stretch for that there are some good alternatives that arent 7 seat SUV's but MPVs.Firstly you have the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross which has a decent interior, exterior and features(but not 6 airbags). The Suzuki XL7 which has one of the best 3rd rows in the segment(but no 6 airbags or cruise control). If your budget is in the less than 1 Million range then look to the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid which like the XL7 has a good 3rd row. If your budget allows it then the Hyundai Stargazer X is a good fully equipped MPV with all the things(including a weird looking centre stack).
Agree. In my opinion, unless you regularly go off-roading, a minivan is a much better and safer choice for families. Much better use of interior space than SUVs, too
True. And its horsepower is just right for the size given that it's meant to carry 7 people, unlike the grossly underpowered Xpander, Avanza, and others in that class.
The paddle shifters will be useful for downshifting to engine brake when going downhill. This a concern I have about the Custin lacking paddle shifters.
This van is really a head-turner everytime I see one. Loving the color black. No other seating configuration like 4 captain seats just like in Grandia? I mean a 9-seater?
There is a 9 seater with 4 captain seats. I checked it out before I decided to go with the Staria Premium+. 4 Rows configuration for the 9 seater, 2nd and 3rd row are captain seats but not like the premium+ with the leg support. The downside of the 9 seater for me is that when the 3rd row is moved all the way to the back to have more leg room or lean the back of the seat. It takes the leg room of the 4th row that I find uncomfortable and I’m a short person.
For me it's not that it looks too futuristic, it's just that it looks like the 80's version of the future. I immediately called them (staria and stargazer) robocop mobiles. But to be fair, the look is growing on me.
IF I needed a “mini van” this would definitely be the coolest! I especially like the color scheme (zero chrome) white with bronze is different and I really like that! Downside personally, only the back row folds down. Even better if all rear seats fold down into the floor. (I used to own a Hyuandai and they are excellent!!) Enjoy the sense of humor in this production!! Great job!
Hope you enjoyed the drive to ELYU! I’m glad that Jack had a short footage taken of our town’s bridge and river, on your way to ELYU and we’re just near in the area. Very nice and kalog fun review as always! Godspeed!
Best choice by far tho I'd opt for the new 9-seater Premium just to have that extra practicality. The paddles ain't BS too given the Premium has a button-type shifter, that's the only way you'll be able to control the gears by yourself.
Question ❓ Not in-use! Would the third row seats besides of its comfort and bounciness would still be there? After being used,.For cargo? And number-2 question ❓ Would this van,.And the stargazer! Would already replace the STARREX? Which is also a fullsize van too? O and by the way,.If mostly Caco's nitpicking on (pianoblacks ) on the car For me,. Specially on this van! That would be my nit-pic And that's,.Those third row seats on the cargo bed
Neighbor has this and this is definitely a car I would say did not deserve to be given a diesel. When you see it from a far, it looks futuristic, but when it comes close and you hear it, it sounds like a truck. When you're close, the door handles also look weird. Anyways, I hope this comes with a hybrid next.
OK naman halos lahat puwera lang sa (UNNECESSARY) AWD, why need it for a family van?! Dagdag weight lang, more maintenance pa (in the future) and most especially, it jacked up the price! 😮
Hi guys, i am looking at Toyota Raize, price shows 1,063,000 for the 1.0 Turbo CVT. I have a question, when you buy a car in the Philippines, are there sales taxes on top of the price listed by the dealer? I'm not talking about various small charges like transport to the dealer, dealer preparation fee, but rather a large tax applied on top of the MSRP price as a percentage of the overall dealer listed price. Salamat!
I agree, I almost bought the Zenix. For those captain seats, sliding doors are so much better and makes sense entering and exiting the vehicle. So much room inside, I can seat with 2 big dogs at the 3rd row and it can still fit 2 adults.
love this show, just friendly advise! TAKE A BUCKET OF WATER AND SOAP AND CLEAN THE CAR BEFORE SHOOT!!!!! Last video the Nissan Z as beautiful she was, she was dirty af, so as this car !!!!

Yes, minivan much better than those fake 7 seaters.

Check out the Hyundai Custin it’s like a Honda Odyssey with ventilated automatic captain seats. Less then 2M

"Cause I'm worth it" killed me. HAHAHAHHA
Whoever's experimenting with these new intro styles, keep them coming!
Haha ang galing magbigay ng review hindi biased magbigay ng review ❤ may suv off-roader ako mas gusto naman ang van
Thank you Staria and Hyundai for finally breaking the HiAce Elite Monopoly and Price Gouging of Toyota PH.

There's a 9 seater variant that was launched at the same time as the stargazer x.
@@Cars4lyf-zx6nx I like the Staria design though. Hehe

Mitsubishi should bring the Delica awd here in the Philippines. That is the legit offroad van.

Philippine's Saul Goodman 😂
Subtle arm flexing, eh, Cacs? Nice nice. Sa edad natin, fitness is gold!
The 2.2 diesel editon comes only with the 9 seats?? The 7 seats edition does it comes with the diesel engine?
Also Missed on the opportunity on your epilogue spiel. it should be "This will make you a Super Star.. yeah?"

How I wish we have that here in Canada. The only AWD van I know we have here in North America is Toyota Sienna and it is pretty expensive.
10:43 it's 8 inch infotainment system, not 10.25 inch
Pls also review the premium 9 seater version.
Like a Pick up truck, you would need to put some cargo weight on the back to stop it from bouncing many times.

Caco, just one question for you: This, or the Super Grandia Elite?
Sayang di tayo nagkita, hope you enjoyed your tour around La Union idol.
as a good daily driver, how does it hold up in office or multistory carparks?

How is it compared to the hiace???
This is 4wd and has a sun roof
intros are getting better!
matipid ❤ tapos ang ganda ng specs at amenities
Very good vehicle to replace my old 2016 Grand Starex H1 😂 btw i love the LED Interior details
That type of vehicle not for cargo, even small luggage hard to fit and keep banging the door. Your right, it was design to move people alone.
Please review the 9 seater version too.
Truth be told... is back!!!😂
still dont have the money to buy a brand new car. just enjoying sir caco's humor.
Thats a ridonculous amount of water bottle holders. How much gallons is that? hehe ang kengkoy nyo talaga sir. kaka goodvibes
If Hyundai can fix the bumpy ride this is a good alternative to the classy Toyota Alphard
Paddle shifter good for uphill and downhill (engine braking)
May 9 seater Premium naman if need mo ng more seats..sunroof lang ang nawala..and its ceaper at 2.99M..
2,830,000

how about the new CRV?
the van that made those toyota and nissan vans look old
is that an apprentice in the second row :-)
Can the captain's chairs swivel facing the backseat bench?
Oh please, comparo between this and the new Alphard.

Ang kulit nung pun sa "memories" extra pa si Godzilla. Kung amenities and design, I'd choose this over the Hi-Ace pero kung longevity, Hi-Ace pa rin.
With that price, it would safe to say ill go for hi-ace grand tourer.
Staria is safe and comfortable than marked up Hi ace
Nope!
having both, we prefer the hyundai. better ride ❤

I agree, I almost bought the Zenix. For those captain seats, sliding doors are so much better and makes sense entering and exiting the vehicle. So much room inside, I can seat with 2 big dogs at the 3rd row and it can still fit 2 adults.

No it doesn't do it all it's not proper 4x4 plus low ground clearance for pot holes in alot of places in Philippines.
