Hey guys, we are now starting a new video series to provide our customers with better tutorials for the making, and all of the projects will be Arduino and 3D Printing related.
The first tutorial this week will start from your everyday life: An Arduino Alarm Clock!
Not only to display time and ring the alarm, but it can also monitor the temperature of your room. The shell is easily 3D printed and all electronic parts are included in our UNO Super Starter Kit.

For the buttons change the wires that are in Analog In A0, A1, A2 to A5, A4, A3
Thanks a LOT :-)
A0, A1, A2 to A5, A4, A3 "respectively"?
It worked for me. Ty!
It worked but the second cant move
how would you make it be 12 hour instead of 24?
says rtc not avaluable
We will soon create a new project with this tutorial. Is the enclosure available?
Everything fine but please mention components in details and how to set time
Superbly working
what resistor value are you using for the buttons?
220 ohms
I use 330 ohms and it works fine also.@@mineralwasser0886
my breadboard is too long, and its the one that comes in the super starter kit. do I buy a new one, or cut it down to match, or what do I do?
cut it into 1/100 pieces
Its multiple alarm set
If only shorter wires would exist.
it does
Now let’s just say I want to hook it up to a car horn how would I go about doing that
how would someone cycle the LCD to show temperature for a couple seconds and then humidity for a couple seconds in the same location?
Where can I get that same white box without the 3D printing
You can order it on PCB way or JLC Pcb.
Is there a way to have a message come up on the screen when the alarm goes off?
does this work if i use ds3231 instead of ds1307?
where is the code?
CODE NOT WORKING
Hello, I finished the whole setup, but got stuck on setting the clock with button functions.
My display just shows...
165:165:85 00:00
165-165-165 1c0
Check RTC connection for SDA & SCL
Hey. Did you get the 3 buttons to work. That's the only step I can't get to work
@@bigman1118 the code and the picture doesn't match in the video tho
What size is the bread board in tie-points
Half size
Not working
misleading. your basic kit does not include the ds1307 module.
Yeah, I have the basic super set as well and can verify it's not included. Also, why does the video not show the power adapter? lol
from the looks of it, they misprinted the opening and didn't include the power adapter hole, but rather only allowed for the USB connector to be attached. overall this video has quite a lot of, let's say weird stuff, to keep it polite.
i dont have a 3d printer so i just used carboard
What are the measurements??? Please
@@TopG360 the thing is I assembled the components first then I just made a box to fit it inside and cut out holes for the LCD panel and use hot glue to attach the potentiometer to the box.
