Eh you guys are criticizing them like how we criticize you guys on lack of hockey skills. It’s like saying British domestic hockey league is compared to our major Junior leagues here… plus CanPL is a fairly new league compared to European leagues (and even MLS).
It's a shame a professional league has such terrible fields. The turf obviously couldn't handle that rain, and it was painful to watch how players were fighting against the pitch, not their opponents.
@@thetabbyguy921 It would be OK for a friendly or preseason tournament, but not for an official game. The ref should postpone that game due to weather and pitch conditions, but hesitated because of all that buzz around it - very unprofessional.
Good attendance, love the idea of playing occasional games in different cities. Makes regular season games more interesting
The quality this game was shocking from both sides
The field was too wet for sure, that made skilled professionals play like they were beginners

2 teams wasteful, how can you not score at least 1 goal? Semi pro level at best if they were in England
5TH TIER, NATIONAL LEAGUE?

@@ultimatesoccershoweven isthmian league step 4 teams can play better than that

This was a one-off match in Kelowna to test out the market for potential future expansion. Neither of the teams typically plays on that field.
