Tennessee attracts people for many reasons. They come from around the world to see our state, and perhaps make it their home. As a young man Riyad Alkem decided he would leave his native Syria and make American his home and bringing part of his culture with him. Riyad, is an excellent chef and while his recipes are from his home country, he likes to say that he doesn't serve Syrian food, he serves good food.
