Excellent timing for another dose from the Doctor.
I really love these old-school stories. Much more articulated and imaginative. The more technology grows the worse the grammar gets and predictable the stories are. (Not all, but a lot of creepypasta.) I love the sci-fi ones as they give you an idea of what people thought could be possible without knowing what is (currently) possible. Also a nice reminder that what is now available to us was once a strange idea and theory.

Dr you definitely nailed this one! A total home run of a narration! I mentioned the film that essentially told the same story and it simply had to have been inspired by this, being that the story came first. In any case I truly recommend watching it, it’s an awesome cast, and you get to see this entire event brought to life as well as you did, for once you were equaled! I’m sure it’s only an isolated incident, and I doubt to ever see or hear it happen again. But thank you for delivering this in your style. Best of the best IMO! Oh wow, this so far has the exact same storyline as the film “The Prestige”, Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, and Michael Caine. About a machine built by Tesla, as a means to a magic trick, but instead played out just like this. It’s an incredible film, with far more talent and great actors than I listed. What’s even funnier is one of the mens name was also Farrell!
And the ending was nearly the same, box locked up tight. Never meant to see the light of day again. Fantastic film!!

Captivating as always! I love the sound of your voice in the dim candlelit warmth of my boudoir as I hang eagerly on your words. I often times imagine I have you all to myself, nestled on the chaise lounge in front of the antique wrought iron stove as the flames dance behind the glass paned double doors. My head in your lap lost in your latest thrilling tale! I know some say your tenor lulls them to blissful slumber, but not me. Story telling is an art, which my dear Great Grandmamas stories installed my life long love of. I see so it's not really that scary, but still a good story nonetheless. I liked it. *Spoiler:* It's the kind of scary where they realize the implications and impact such a device would have on mankind, too powerful and problematic if used for other purposes.
