Thankyou! I’m hoping that sharing not only matches and training, but my thoughts on the ways I’m trying to improve will be helpful to others too 😊

This type of thought download is great to listen to. Most of us TT players ride the same ups and downs in the journey. It's a shame real life gets in the way of practice :)

Very very good analysis. I plan to do 2/3 hours service practice and 2 sessions with a coach (3 hours). Documenting your training is an excellent idea and writing down learning points too. So easy just to turn up to a coaching session with no objectives. I can relate to all of your thoughts and feedback here.

Great video as always Neil. Who do you get coaching from?

Nice Neil, now at your level it is about your mental strategies and prediction. Even if you have consistency you need to have a top mental game as well

      I agree with this.

Thanks for this. Any advice in particular on mental strategies I should be working on?

@@neilmyatt1980 there is a wide range to cover, but key points are linked towards how you are able to read patterns in the opponents game and how they respond to what you do. Having a 3rd ball attack won’t always work, especially when you are playing better players.Your mental game is how quick you can adjust to a certain player and how you have 100% focus on what your are doing. If you are on autopilot (doing what first comes to mind) you aren’t thinking about the shot you will have to do after they return the first ball.

What I find Neil is exactly similar to you there is a group of players small group all near the same level that are just that bit better that I can’t win against, but I feel once I reach that level I can compete and beat every local league player so it’s a big hurdle but almost the final hurdle in local league
