Xavier Dolan and cast on Matthias et Maxime

Interview with Canadian filmmaker, screenwriter and actor Xavier Dolan, who at age twenty debuted at the Cannes Film Festival with J'ai tué ma mère (I Killed My Mother). Now ten years later, he returns to the south of France with his eighth film, Matthias et Maxime. The drama revolves around two young men who are part of a close group of friends. When they start dating, the brotherhood of their social circle is threatened.

What a wonderful guy and what a wonderful view of women! Thank you so much that was so lovely to say. I absolutely loved Mattias's mom she was sooo familiar. And cozy and warm and wonderful and funny. And I loved all the moms at the posh party they were sich a lovely disaster 😂😂. And I loved the hint to toxic masculinity, and how wonderful Sara is even though she's going to be Matthias's ex (I suppose)? Because there doesn't have to be anything wrong with her for him to crave another. She's super cool and chill and lovely. Xavier you're just wonderful. Thank you for creating this lovely movie I'll cherish it forever ❤❤❤
