It's crazy how modern metal music has The most craziest solos and intricate guitar riffs... But something as simple as this guitar hitting octave power cords and going up the scale gives me hardcore goosebumps
Most bands are best on their first albums. There are exceptions, but trying to repeat successes is usually what causes young bands to become lackluster.
Such an amazing performance here btw. Considering these guys are playing in an open environment plus struggling to keep the tune and not even mention the vocals!!! My respects goosebumps.
to vciado nessa musica, eu conhecia ela a anos mas eu era imaturo, tava numa pogada hardcore emo core e new metal apenas... mas sou ecletico continuo gostando e adicionando mais coisas
Twenty6 yeah like sharks with a sniff of blood they hunt for success. They were their own genre in the end though which is cool, I guess they’re all ‘influenced’ from somewhere, knowingly or not. The Seattle bands i suspect you refer to would have done the same, some do jump a little further away than others though. I didn’t like bush back in the day as I thought they were extending something that was done so brilliantly prior, but in retrospect I give them more kudos now...

amo essa banda....não importa o tempo, a música sobrevive as tempestades!
This song for some reason when I was in labor, help me get through labor when I had my babies and kept playing over and over and over again in my head, and I just started meditating and listening to this song
One of my favourite tracks of all time played live by a guitarist with about as much charisma as my mum. He belongs in some dodgy cover band playing in my local pub. Great track though, was constantly on repeat through my last year of school - '94
@GibsonOnTheWall Confirmed ! Saw them yesterday in Luxembourg. They rocked the placed from beginning to end. No stupid talking between songs, just 90 minutes of rocking the place. That's the way I imagine a rock concert !
Sounds like a Bush cover band playing in a backyard party. Whoa. I saw them in '96 at the Forum in Los Angeles and they were unbelievable. This is not.
love the 59 reissue its just great and gavin strat is a hardtail, im going to made mine with hard tail bridge, i have a LP 68 reissue and im going to buy a 59 tobaco burns and 57 white top
there is no energy on the stage, Traynor isn't sloppy enough, Nigel's sloppiness and the nuances that he added to his playing is what made their performances so exciting.
seen them last night at aftershock!!!!! bush played and 4 40 and they should have headlined!!!!!! best band there, better then STP, theory of a dead man, and all 11 other bands! lol i liked bush a lot before i seen them live and now i love them so much more just to see that they can really rockout and not have ben just made better in the studio!
You can clearly hear his guitar come in. The reason he turned the knobs up was when you're not playing you need to turn down so you don't create hideous feedback. A lot of guitarists use a pedal, Gavin uses his knobs. It's for the same reason either way.
check out this line up I went to in '95 ZephyrFest New Orleans : Bush Matthew Sweet Letters to Cleo Catherine Wheel Jill SobuleMoist Sleeper Deadeye Dick The Caulfields Hhead Sons Of Elvis Phunk Junkies. Wow I didn't have a worry in the world then, at that time thought I did though :)

fuck yeah bro I feel that
Yeah bro. It's the power cords that do that.
Less is more is the best when it's done with taste and energy. I love it when this song is played at football games.
@rickysubie lol me too my friend! I used to get super pumped up playing Madden and hearing this song
My generation is untouchable! Gavin's vocals Killin it!
What lol sounds terrible AF!

I was here at this performance, one of my favorite bands!
Still blown away that 16 Stone was their first album. Every song is a masterpiece.
but this performance is off... not the same without Nigel and Gavin's voice is off, not the same...

I love Gavin...🤘 He’s a beautiful piece....🔥
Except he cheated on gwen stafani 🙄🙄
grunge is not dead
mais uma grande banda na ativa.
viva o rock

Ben Lockett LOL!!! What happened to Nigel Pulsford? He was bald but, you know, he had what the French call a certain 'I don't know what....'

Nice !!!! Dug you in 'Constantine', Gavin ! Well done, my friend. ; )_
that was awesome
Ich liebe dieser Band
It looks like the guitar player is reading the chord progression on a sheet by his feet..
It's hard to hear but there are a lot of effects in this song. He probably had a new pedal board setup and was making sure he hit the right effects.
The man used to play in Helmet. A fucking monster of band.
I love Helmet and Bush
But this guy doesn't make it in Bush in my opinion.
Now that's how it's done!!
bush é muito foda!!
Tudo good 😊pLays live ❤
Chris is an amazing musician. i think he fills the shoes just right. Its like he's replacing Lennon or McCartney.....
They could've adjusted the vocals it kinda sounds strange, but it isn't Gavin's voice.

Pena que acabou mas o som dos caras era muito bom.

beautiful music ... animal artist
could have made some adjustments for the lead vocal so it wont sound so dry....so it can project more.
Probably just some radio sound guys
Gavin is very light on his feet. He still plays some sort of sport I bet
It's better then the rest
IT´S COOL !
