How to make a custom BIOS and Windows Boot Logo

- By popular demand, HERE IT IS! My quick guide to installing a customized Windows Boot and BIOS logo on your PC.
The process will vary depending on your motherboard model and manufacturer, but most manufacturers allow you to do this with their own proprietary software. For the purpose of this video, I'll be showing you on my ASUS Maximus motherboard.
if your motherboard manufacturer doesn't provide software, you still may be able to manually unpackage and replace the standard boot logo in your BIOS file, but it's risky, and therefore not covered in this video. Instructions for this can be found on Google.

If you’re having trouble finding EZ Update, please try installing AI Suite 3 from the original CD that came with your motherboard.

1. If you uninstall that Asus program, does the logo remain the same or does it go away?
2. Can you upload that .PNG file in the description? I would like to use it too.
PNG is on google. Just search “pc master race PNG”.
The image stays if you u instal the software as it’s flashed to the BIOS. It will only be removed by reflashing.
Yeah, I tried to get the same image in Google and after flasing i got a bad quality with white marks around the edges. Hope he provide the image
The model of the BIOS image dosent match the BIOS ROM currently present. When I put the file on asus suite 3 ez update. Tried fixing 2 days nice nothing

Hi, great video thanks. When I turn secure boot on in my bios after completing this and reinstall the secure boot keys, it comes up with a red message and doesn't allow the os to load. It says something about unauthorised changes to the firmware. Ideally, I'd like to be able to boot with secure boot enabled if you could help me with that?

my EZ update gets to the reboot then the pc just freezes before post, restarting it just boots windows with no changes made.

Tried this in 2021. ASUS Prime Z490-A. My AiSuite III doesn't have the EZ Update. Nothing but trouble from this software for me haha

Why would AI Suite 3 not have an EZ Flash option? Z170-A here.
It's a little difficult to find online for some motherboards. It should be on the original installation CD that came with your motherboard though.
I have AISuite3 and a Z370-I mobo and don't have EZ Update as a tool inside the application. Still trying to figure out which version fo AISuite has it

I got stuck when you used AI Suite 3... I seem to be completely unable to find a download for my mobo model on the asus website (even though I have an asus lap top) so I was unable to proceed with the tutorial. More detail on where to find stuff would be awesome! Tried googling it to death but nothing! Is there any other way to do this without AI Suite 3? I have an Asus ROG Strix GL702ZC Lap Top.

So the tool sets the logo of your choice to both the BIOS and the windows logo?
The windows logo is loaded from BIOS with newer PCs that run UEFI
Can't change the logo using this method on my ASUS Maximus XI HERO Call of Duty Black Ops 4 edition, I always see the call of duty logo even after using the Mylogo tool :(
I'm kinda having the reverse problem of needing to remove a company boot logo with a stock dell splash when booting up. We want to resell the computer you see without any custom logos popping up.

i am not a beginner in bios updates overall, but this software just not work for me - i mean - AUI suite is installed/files bios/bmp are ready so, I chose file and logo and press UPDATE - app ask me about restart so i press OK and PC shut down instead reset :/

my PC boots too fast, it displays for a split second then goes to desktop -_- if I disable fast boot, it takes 15 seconds to boot, not practical... if I could somehow get it to display for 5 seconds max, that'd be great. too bad you can't control how slow/fast fastboot goes, like add delay.

It didn't work for me. First the latest version of AI suite 3 wasn't launching on my brand new Ryzen build. I found a beta version that worked but it didn't have EZ Update. I found a way to take only the ez update installer of the previous AI suite and drag it and ran it through the beta version installer. After that everything went as in the video but the logos never changed... I spent a few hours on that.
my processor was overclocked by default. I disabled the turbo CPU option in the Bios and saved the changes, but everytime I turn on my pc the BIOS is back to its default settings and my processor is overclocked again, Pls tell me how to fix this issue. I am using an Asus H-61 motherboard.
I really want to give my PC a 1979 Alien kind of theme. Like have the intro screen be the "Crew Expendable" complete text animation/clip with just MOTHER. trying to go all out with the customization I'd love to figure it out.

I have ROG B450-F Gaming Motherboard..
I've tried image after image, both transparent and black backgrounds, and for whatever reason I cannot get the image to display right. CSM disables and boot logo set to fullscreen have no affect. The file is a 420x420 ROG logo with a transparent background saved as a .png file. I wish I could get this to work, Im just using an ROG logo except instead of red accents its blue.
Maybe try converting to JPG first?
Anyone know if AISuite3 only has certain tools for each mobo? I have a ROG STRIX z370-I and don't have the EZ Update tool inside the application. I just updated my bios with it inside the BIOS, but there's no option for custom boot logo there. Looks like it's only available within AISuite3.
LOL Great I will run out and replace my computer with an ASUS motherboard so I can change my bios full screen logo. ( Sorry to be sarcastic but I am thinking the title of this video should (on ASUS mobo) so people do not waste their time watching something they cannot do.
As explained at the start of the video, most brands support this with their own software following a very similar process.
