Out of all the Zara scents I’ve recently tried Ebony Wood takes the crown. Smells way more expensive and sophisticated than the price. Second comes Fashionably London and then the Madrid one. These are well blended, well made fragrances and worth more than the price.
I love Ebony Wood. And agree, well blended. I also finally smelled Bohemian Bluebell the other day, and where as no one else seemed to like it, like you, I really liked it.
I own(ed) waterlily tea dress, amalfi sunray and Loved their Smell. Unfortunaly they dont last at all and have really no sillage. The only one I can recommed is vetiver pampelmousse bc it lasts and smells really authentic
The best part of this line that they mix well with each other giving opportunity to create something special for yourself by layering them depending on your mood 💖
Zara kills it again, i got Waterlily Tea Dress and I am not done for sure. New collection with Jo "city" team is soo good, love Creatively Shanghai and Elegantly Tokyo.
Everytime I watch your videos I feel like you're my friend in my head lol. You're so relatable it's hard to explain but I love your videos and a lot of my purchases are based off of your recommendations to be honest.
@@PaulinaPerfumes Now I want it too!!!! I never smelled any of Zara perfumes. But when I saw your video (two actually), I made a long list of the ones I want. So out of all, except Fleur de Patchouli what other two shall I buy from this range? what were your n2 and n3?
Glad you mentioned my favorite Zara, vetiver pamplemouse. Very linear but I don’t care it’s lovely. And also a good layering scent. I do NOT like bohemian bluebells though. And I am surprised you didn’t get jos rhubarb. I would have liked to hear your opinion on that one.
I instantly liked Sublime Epoque. I found it similar to a mix of My way with the fruity side of Idole. It is certainly not a dupe of My Way itself but just as good! Surprisingli it lasted on me! I found the Jo line not lasting....Ebony Wood is interesting though :)
Hey Paulina, could you do a Video about certain "Noses" and the different scents they created? Did you know for example, that Francis Kurkdjan created Not only BR540, but also Kenzo World and Burberry Her? Or that Quentin Bisch, Nose behind "Delina" created La Belle and Angel Muse?
I have ebony wood and it s an amazing fragrance. Woody , aromatique and little bit sweet . It s last forever on my clothes ! I love also fleur d’oranger and vétiver pamplemousse but I found it a little bit masculine. The packaging, the bottle and price are so affordable 🥰 very nice quality and (niche) for some others. The best collection and collaboration.
watched about 5 videos on this collection from different RUclipsrs and was very interested in Vetiver Pamplemousse, so i bought it online as i wasn't in my Zara in my city and it smells the exact same as DKNY Woman. I wear DKNY woman already and have open bottles of it. if one youtuber would have said this I'd have saved myself the hassle and the money of buying it.
New collection from Zara and jo Malone is out called vibrant cities collection 😍 please do a review soon as possible, I would greatly appreciate it . ❤️❤️❤️ from 🇨🇦
I own citrus meze and jo’s rhubarb from jo loves collab. I wanted to like vetiver pamplemousse but it’s too vetiver for me. There are also golden lullaby/ rose petal drops/ bergamot and leather spritz/ amber&fig cashmere/ white flower posy/ cerise peonies/ waterfall brume/ spring blossom cascade
@@user-jk4jj4nm1q not at all. VP is very dry vetiver to my nose. Rhubarb is fresh zesty and juicy. Citrus meze is very cooling refreshing and very realistic lime/lemon juice
@@gourmandyandy thanks a lot. I'm not sure what vetiver is supposed to smell like, but I also just get a pure grapefruit vibe as Paulina. I smelled Citrus Meze is store once but only on paper, and was left confused and surprised by the smell, was a bit obscure to me and now I can't even recall it. I'm looking forward to checking it out again along with Jo's Rhubarb, juicy fresh sounds like exactly what I want.
I really don’t understand why people like ebony wood, i hate it, but i guess we all have different tastes in perfumes. I’m in love with Veriver Pamplemousse. It’s soooo goood! And red temptation it’s ok, less better Magnificent Paris, it doesn’t stay, and it’s more like a skin scent .
The more perfume reviews I listen to, read or write myself the more I realise one thing: they're only useful if you're already very aware of how certain scent notes are treated by your skin and how long EdT/EdP lasts on your skin in general. Though there can still be exceptions of course, or differences over time (citrusnotes used to become toiletcleaner on my skin or simply very sour, icky. Nowadays perfumes, as long as the note mix is also floral leaning, with citrus notes can do well on my skin.) I get your idea about Ebony Wood... simply based on the recipe I'll stay away 😉. However, there can also be huge surprises: Red Temptation (including BR540 or Cloud) that most rave about or at least like is not only the most disgusting thing I've ever smelled - it made me very ill: migraine and barfing - but it also lasted ages on me! I washed, still there. Then had to use 70% alcohol twice and it was a soft skin scent after that, but with the worst note left. I had to put a very heavy different scent on top of it to get rid of it. Even when I think of it I get nauseous again, brrrr. Same for Rose Gourmand, Amber Fusion etc. I've noticed that most amber based scents by Zara (combined with moss even worse), except for one, go berserk on my skin. While Amber usually isn't an issue for me with other perfume brands and I even prefer Oriental fragrances that often have amber. But Zara Amber....🤢🤮😵💫.
Try in a cooler weather. I like it a lot, tried it once during warm early fall and it was nauseating. I had to scrub it off! It’s not fresh at all after its short opening.
Loveddddd this video ! There is a new Jo Malone x Zara fragrance collection! I loved the Emotions line better though, but would love you hear your POV. It’s called Vibrant Cities 🌃 🌆
@@PaulinaPerfumes I dont blame ya. I would do the same..just be safe. I'm just thinking of my ancestors, the world and anyone I know over there right now. Sending prayers....
So the first collection you reviewed from zara the ready to wear 2.0 collection they are all long lasting but dont really project. They all stay really close to the skin. Super disappointing because I love a good sillage and scent bubble. I have 7 and all last on clothing until the next day but a lot of perfumes do that.
I sort of feel like Jo shot herself in the foot with these. I mean her brand is so expensive and known for not having good longevity, why would you ever buy a full bottle of Wood Sage and Sea Salt when you could pay $25 for Ebony Wood and it's just as pretty and lasts the same?
ok so I need to buy them asap till they will be sold out :) unfortunately I bought Rose Gourmand and it doesn't have any scent, it smells nice but for few minutes and then it disappears...

Do they tend to lean on a masculine side?
finally one youtuber who liked fleur de Patcouli... all the other youtubers said like it is teenager scent, it is this that and I LOOOOVED IT!

My favs are Ebony Wood and Fleur de Patchouli 🎀
I agree that the slim bottles are most definitely longer lasting than the wider bottles. I'm loving all the collections Zara is coming out with.
I totally agree!
I was laughing so much when you were discovering Fleur de Patchouli! Loved it!

Vetiver pamplemousse finally someone Who shares my oppinion, it doesnt get more realistic
Amalfi sunray- Przemysławka
Bohemian bluebells- wardrobe pendant for moths
Tuberose noir and fleur de patchouli- migraine causing
Ebony wood- 10/10
Vetiver pamplemousse- 11/10, its like liquefied mediterranean vacation
Waterlily tea dress- elegant, pure, slightly formal
Oh no! I just ordered Bohemian bluebells because someone said it smells like YSL libre and it was on sale 🥺😭

I was blown away by fleur de patchouli too 😁
My sodt is by Kilian sunset and I now realised that they have this similar musk-patchouli, watery rose accord

ok so I need to buy them asap till they will be sold out :) unfortunately I bought Rose Gourmand and it doesn't have any scent, it smells nice but for few minutes and then it disappears...
Let Rose Gourmand mature. In two weeks it should do better... stays forever on me even after a few days I wake up to it's smell on my pillow.

Love you

But Bohemians love patchouli ;)
Ebony Woods reminds me of Zara's Red Vanilla
