- A Tribute to Red Alert 2 and its expansion pack.
I produced this one day to pass the time when i was in a RA2 mood and thought I'd share.
Music is the Red Alert 2 theme. Hellmarch 2 by Frank Klepacki.
A note on the lack of Tanya: Maybe a poor choice on my part. If I recall, the intention was to focus on the Leaders & Assistants of each faction over "heros". I also failed to find a clip of Boris (If he even had a cut-scene actor) and for balance I didn't include Tanya aka Kari Wuhrer (best Tanya).
Obviously that was dumb of me because it is not Red Alert without the Badass that is Tanya.
Anyone else think this needs to be a movie?

+ZeroController Not much. There is no possibility of the Warhead initiating.
Actually, the users of atomic weapons (US, USSR, etc.) make sure to take precautions with their missiles, so that they only detonate upon reaching target. If they didn't, North Carolina would be a nuclear wasteland.

+Ezekiel Azupardo YES! Red Alert 3 had it's perks, but was waaaay too cheesy and stupid, I don't dislike hot women, but the important ones here was just portrayed too slutty for my tastes, the graphics were too cartoony, etc. etc.

Man I missed this game so much!!! Childhood memories..... with much adept violence and action.... Retro games like this cannot easily replaced the good old fashion conquering all your opponents unlike those flashy 3d stuff games.

Thing about units in ra2; sure the concept for many of them were silly, but they sure had an intimedating design.

I Always wanted to play red alert games but can never find them. there never at Wal-Mart, GameStop or BestBuy.

eh...there are lots of free version on chinese websites. they dont respect the copyright,you know that ....but of course ,the game language is chinese.if u dont care..
You can buy them ALL from Origin. I bought 14 games for $20.
Sovets are strong but with th slower units, vunerable t0 fast units. allied is fast but has weaker units, yuri depends on mind control, so he can have both, but the fact they get released from the death fot he unit/tower means certain uh-ohs.

I would agree it was bitter. I don't think most people realize how much fighting actually took place during the Cold War. The history books give the impression that the Cold war didn't involve much fighting. However, there was alot of fighting, proxy wars, propping up dictatorships, topping governments. The cold war isn't as cold as most people here in the US think.

Did anyone else think the Tesla Troopers voice line was "Faceless Uber Ready" I can never unhear that.
I did find the Kirovs can be a bit useless to Yuries anti-weapons : the 50mm Gattling Guns.
The Kirovs can be improved by havinig a secondary weapon systems that destroy ground targets like similar to the Apocloyps tanks
