Also Monkey King and Macaque are very similar beings (them both being monkeys) and they share many of the same personality traits wether they like it or not. MK is almost exactly like Wukong, so much so that Macaque even points it out in later seasons saying “you really are just a little but too much like him” (something along the lines of that).

The chapter he appeared in starts with Wukong's character regression (killing bandits with no further thinking).So the defeat of Macaque means he got rid of his bad traits and became a better -person- monkey onwards.And yeah,I may just watched the summary and haven't read the book,but the next chapter feels more chill,Wukong actually tries to use reason than straight up violence when facing Princess Iron Fan. Edit: I've read the book and the title for the final chapter of Six-Eared Macaque arc basically spoils what Macaque is

I imagine, like they did with rottmnt, as the show goes on, they get more and more used to drawing the characters (eg. Wukong) so the style gets better and smoother

@@mega6662 I mean the only thing that holds back this theory is Ninjago might see that as copying but that’s more so the fans complaining but… There are several hints like snakes being mention snake drawings and I saw a couple snake like demons in the Pigsy episode so I’m wondering if their teasing us with what’s to come it’s that or the wolf demon that meis ancestor fought at the end because he seems like a very important character they won’t brush off considering he’s devoured people he has no doubt an army and we saw his beloved when Tang was jumping through portals so again teases as to what’s to come I imagine it’s snakes or him

I think it was Shī Nü, a character from another story called 'The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl'. Just simulare behaviour that I noticed before but chalked up to MK's personality just going along with it but It seems a little different now.

Maybe something happened when he was a child and that was how his fear came-about 🤔 That’s unless he got it by growing up with Pigsy, but who knows if it’s more than that considering that half of his childhood is a mystery 👀

I would like to point out his hair style, the hairline where his ears should be makes me think monkey ears; look at other characters they do not have the same ear hairline shape that MK has.
Oh and don't forget if you freeze frame when MK is in the furnace there is a tiny moment where his reflection is monkey shaped. It's only for a split second though
