I really enjoy the three other reviewers that I watched that reviewed this and there content, and no doubt that Vanquish is top notch, but finally, someone shows it turn over, and points out some "issues', as opposed to all praise. Keep up the good content.
Vanquish knocking it out the park.. makes answering the question of what rig to buy to get into class 2 crawling comps. In either flavour RTR or kit this is a solid kit that performs out the box. Even for the guy who had multiple high end builds that has a mate who wants to just buy in and go crawling, how easy.. and its a legit performer. Great video Greg, what a cool spot to chill and flatten a battery. Happy New Year mate👍🇦🇺

I appreciate the comp scene, but I enjoy going out on my own more at this point in my RC life and when a rig works this well, it makes the drive time so much more enjoyable.
Good video sir. I cannot think of another rig in this price range that can beat the Stance if both are in their box stock configuration. I’m loyal to no brand …. but FINALLY an out of box crawler that doesn’t require immediate upgrades. Also I have a RTR that I can suggest to beginners to get and have a pretty good rig to instantly enjoy the hobby. Thank you Vanquish 👏🏻. Now let’s pray other companies follow suit 🤞🏻
Of the three videos I've seen on the truck you definitely were more analytical of it, the other two gushed a little more over the truck. I think you are the unlucky one with the one leaky shock from what I have seen. Always a solid review Greg.
It' worth noting, originally the truck was going to have 6% OD when the trucks were released to testers, but they are now shipping with 24%. The difference is the rear portals now have underdrive instead of standard gearing.
Wow great review and very capable RTR Comp Crawler. As you said pity about the nut not being a flanged nut and a leaking shock is not acceptable when you pull it out of the box. Thanks for another great review and start to 2024! 🎉👍🏼
Looks awesome, I like Vanquish products, but gotta say my RTR Phoenix had 3 out of four shocks leaking out of the box, Vanquish did send me 4 rebuild kits....Was that a fix 🤔
I agree. After shutting the cameras down, I stayed to play even though it was cold. The rig works really well and I had to get some more wheel time in!

I guess the only down fall rtr compared to the kit is the machined gears ⚙️, I don’t think the carbon chassis is an advantage. We want more weight low right now
Got nothing on my v1 gen 8 with a hw1080 😂😂😂, I like the crawling just don’t have the environment , one day I went to the beach, broke both crawlers on the jagged rocks ripped my hydrax tire on good ol piece rebar. So yea 😂

A out of place o ring or a loose cap during assembly can happen. Those shocks usually never leak. The wheel nut issue needs to be addressed and im sure it will be by the next batch.
@shaynejenkins446 redcat Ascent goes for 299 US cheaper than the Axial pro. I can upgrade the tires, inserts and get a hobbywing fusion pro, and still come in under the 499 vanquish platform and have a better performing rig then the stock vanquish.

Redcat did a really good job on theirs and for the price, people will enjoy it. The VRD rig just feels more refined, precise and predictable.

watching video now and that leaking shock looks like it's missing the bleeder cap screw in top.
No, it was there. I tightened it prior to running it to see if it was the cause of the leak.

A leaking shock and nuts that wreck wheels are inexcusable at $200 and outlandish at $500.
