A free throw make is a legit buzzard beater. You have guys like Shaq, Wilt, and Ben Simmons who can't shoot free throws. Even some of the best miss, but with Ben you're pretty much guaranteed a miss.
That’s very true and I didn’t think about that! Recently saw some videos of pros in Korea banking all their free throws and going from like 50-60% to 80+% I know Ben Simmons would be too prideful to do that but I bet it would improve his percentage
Yep spot on, while Vinnie’s shot was iconic and an incredible moment in NBA history, it technically wasn’t a buzzer beater cause there was .7 on the shot clock left!
Great question! I’d actually have to go and do some research on that. Derrick White’s buzzer beater against the Heat, and Kawhi’s shot immediately come to mind. Let me do some research on it!
I remember that shot lol The shot, Jordan vs Cleveland. I remember our coach played it for us, over and over. For some reason lol I guess to analyze it or wtv. And I remember he was like, look how high he gets off the ground lol That shot was iconic.
Great video. I've got a recommendation for a complimentary video: Series-losing buzzer misses. I think the research would be much harder so perhaps posters could help out. One memorable miss was by Patrick Ewing in the 1995 Eastern Conference Semi-finals
That’s actually a really cool idea for a video. I’ll have to consider how to get the data for that but I’m doing a project on the players with the most game winning shots (not buzzer beaters) which should be able to help me. Thanks for the idea!
AS a Raptors fan, this game was so worth it seeing with my own eyes. I am glad the Raptors won a championship because honestly I thought it would never happen in my lifetime. I still can't believe they won! This the shot that was not supposed to go in.
MJ at the top of his game never ever beat Larry Brid! It wasn’t until Larry retired that he started winning Championships! And Bird was ALL BEAT UP and still SHUT DOWN…MJ!
Great question! That was actually in game 6, and made the series 3-3. So while it was a game winning buzzer beater, it technically wasn’t a series winner (but an amazing shot nonetheless!)
larry bird hit a shot behind the backboard, she hot it over the backboard when he was behind it and almost out of bounds. But the refs waived it off bc "that's illegal" I mean wtf??
Definitely shouldn’t have been waved off! I bet they had never send a shot like that before I remember Clint Capela hitting a similar shot a few years ago and I was stunned
Yep spot on, while Vinnie’s shot was iconic and an incredible moment in NBA history, it technically wasn’t a buzzer beater cause there was .7 on the shot clock left!
Larry J. Bird was the King of game winning buzzer beaters!
Bird was definitely clutch. One of only two players (the other being DeMar DeRozan) to have game winning buzzer beaters in back to back games
Had no clue this was a smaller channel until after the video. Great work man, this is high quality content. Please keep going
Really appreciate the love! Thanks so much for the nice comment :)
Free Throws count. It's worse cause you have time to think about how crucial it is.
Agreed! With that pressure I’m 100% bricking one

The content is buzzer beater .. There was time left on the clock, after Vinnie's shot, in 1990
Yep spot on, while Vinnie’s shot was iconic and an incredible moment in NBA history, it technically wasn’t a buzzer beater cause there was .7 on the shot clock left!
How would the list be different if you included buzzer beaters when facing elimination along with the series clenching buzzer beaters?
Great question! I’d actually have to go and do some research on that. Derrick White’s buzzer beater against the Heat, and Kawhi’s shot immediately come to mind.

@@WrongHarry Thanks. Love your work. Keep it up.
Nice,thank you 👍🏻.
Great video keep em coming!

Jordan really has a textbook midrange. It’s not taught as much now with the importance of 3pt shooting but his form is amazing
The Larry Bird shot over the back of the backboard as he was going out of bounds stands out to me.

Such a legendary shot and championship! One last of the best in recent memory. Toronto defs deserved it
Eh, loses a lot of its charm due to simple fact that it would be an overtime if he missed. Plus they werent finals.
Hello? Detroit gets overlooked again. Vinnie Johnson's buzzer-beater in 1990 to win the championship is an inexcusable omission.
there were still .6 seconds left this is game-winning buzzer beaters
Dame having 2 is awesome
Agreed! It’s Dame and MJ in a league of their own with two series winning buzzer beaters
MJ at the top of his game never ever beat Larry Brid! It wasn’t until Larry retired that he started winning Championships! And Bird was ALL BEAT UP and still SHUT DOWN…MJ!
What about Robert Horry against the Kings? That was
a game 7 winning buzzer beater.
Great question! That was actually in game 6, and made the series 3-3. So while it was a game winning buzzer beater, it technically wasn’t a series winner (but an amazing shot nonetheless!)
Where can I message you? I am a professional video editor.
I look forward to your response.

W video
wait nvm it was series winning buzzer beater
Yeah spot on! That LeBron shot was legendary but not technically a series winning buzzer beater
you really forgot about 2018 Cavs vs Raptors……
bruh that was in game 3
That wasn’t technically a series winner (although it was a game winner) as it was in game 3! Still an unbelievable shot nevertheless
