We begin our day at Catherine's Gate, which was built in 1559. It served as the entrance to the city of Brasov and is the last surviving gate from medieval times. Once you passed through the gate, you were under the watchful eye of the city council who had the right to hand down capital punishment. Then we head off to the Tampa Cable Car for a spectacular view of Brasov from above. After visiting a memorial to those who died during the Romanian Revolution, which ridded the country of communism, we head to the train station to take a sleeper train to Budapest, Hungary.
