sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my password. I love any tricks you can give me
@Skylar Henry Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I'm not a big fan,,it's ok for camo patterns,(Bf109), eg,,,but for the blotches on the paint, it's too uniform,,,instead of a hard edge stencil,,why not try it with a kitchen scourer ( Brillo) or what ever you use,,, just lightly pull the fibres apart, then spray through that,,much better than hard edge stencils.
@@clonefox80 After some practice, I agree. I just made a mistake masking the wrong area of the fuselage. It's a low viz gray. I black based and built up the blend coat. I realize the tape left an area just black. It didn't get mottled or blended. It's about 3/4" wide..3" long. Do you think I can save it, blend it into the rest of the finished fuselage? The fuse is mottled and frayed, except the nasty black stripe...thanks
If you spray through it by holding the stencil a little bit away from the model then it'll work out well. But same thing, build up layers to blend it together.
Nice video...you packed a lot of good content in such a small package.
Do you ever clear coat before weathering in some cases? Do you use panel accent enamel, and without clear coating first? I really admire your work-

@Skylar Henry it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you really help me out!
@Otto Casen you are welcome xD
This was very informative! Are you putting down the oils on a matte basecoat?
Yes , slightly polished surface,,I don't use a clear coat
What do you think about using templates to create the mottle layer? They are laser cut cardboard,,blotchy looking pattern.,,thanks

Some nice subtle shading going on there, gonna have to try this effects out! Good video, and cool background tune, can you say what it is please?
Thanks man,,
The tune, is a piece by a friend and fellow band member, made for my build videos.
