Every time I watch a concert from South America I always realize that they are the most engaged, best audience anyone could play for.

Forever, from day one to the present. Rock-'n'-roll will never die. The saxophone is really good too. Love them. Saw them in El Paso Texas bout 28 yrs ago. They were awesome. Ppl kept asking if I was ok, he just said she's fine just tuning into the music.... ❤️💜

I was there. Cried like a baby, and a 20+ years dream that I thought to be forever dream became true. The day of my life, and I think nothing will ever top this day. Ever.
The people in the front are pretty much the luckiest people on the planet to have witnessed this from there.
It's fantastic to see 25-year-old Twens singing along to every line of 40-year-old songs. And also how grateful and enthusiastic the sympathic audience is there. I can see tears in some eyes while Gilmour is playing his epic solo in Comfortably Numb... this is exactly how I feel every time I hear this! I wish I could have been there.

David Gilmour Hands Down is the Best Guitarist in the world . Every note every bend of a string has meaning and color and his voice with his guitar playing just makes it even better . Love this guy
David without an audience is still legendary, epic. But somehow these South American shows. I honestly could watch the audience entirely. The emotion and the appreciation, from all of us these young people…. makes my heart happy

In September & October 1994 I was on vacation in Europe and although I was less than 100 km from Lausanne, Switzerland, I did not go to see Pink Floyd because I was with my wife and only 3 year old son. I thought it was not fair to leave them alone, at the hotel, while I went to find what is, for me, the best rock band of all time.
I knew there would be no other opportunity like that.
Then, 21 years later, David Gilmour comes to "my city", in my country!
My wife and I went to this unforgettable performance.
It was magical!
At the age of 56 in 2015 I cried like a child when I heard Gilmour playing Confortably Numb.
Thank you, @HDPinkFloyd, for bringing back this very special moment of my life!
Em setembro e outubro de 1994 estive em férias na europa e embora estivesse a menos de 100 km de Lausanne, Suiça, não fui ver o Pink Floyd porque estava com minha mulher e filho de apenas 3 anos de idade. Pensei que não era justo deixá-los sós, no hotel, enquanto ia ao encontro daquela que, para mim, é a melhor banda de rock de todos os tempos.
Eu sabia que não haveria outra oportunidade como aquela.

No guitarist on earth transmits such feelings as David does. Only one note and you're chilled to the bones. I was in Buenos Aires concert and I can tell I'll never forget it, I saw him with my eldest son and the sensation was complete. This is a little example of what South America crowd is able to express to the musicians. And David deserves it totally. Thanks for posting. Be safe!!!

It was the chance of my life ... Watching David Gilmour, the Stratocaster magician or being with my terminally ill mother for acute myeloid leukemia: She looked at me and said, "My son, go make your dream come true and don't worry with me!" I preferred to stay with her. On the day of Gilmour's presentation in São Paulo, she disincarnated.
I just lost my mom. Be well and know she is now well.

It is such a joy to see a younger generation appreciating Pink Floyd and their " REAL" music . I'm proud to say I introduced my 22 year old daughter to Pink Floyd about a year ago. This is all she listens to now ! lol. Mission accomplished !

I was there, right in the first lines for the best experience and now best memory of my life. I still feel the energy from that day every time a listen to any PF Song.
The Solos, the Lights, the solos, the songs, the solos again...everything was perfect.

What I love about Dave is the quality of his productions have increased over time. He is a true pro and I don't think gets enough mainstream recognition for his contributions to the music world. I love seeing all these young people there singing along to songs that were made way before their time. Awesome! I just wish Dave toured more and came to my area.

Estive no show do primeiro dia em SP e já me emocionei ao vivo. As imagens que vemos acima é do segundo espetáculo cuja performance, energia e atmosfera superaram o primeiro. Uma benção estar no Alianz Park. Uma emoção poder contemplar este maravilhoso show neste vídeo oficial com qualidade impecável. Acredito ter sido um das melhoresperformances que David Guilmour teve em cena.
