    Namibia just passed the test in Africa, great country. Other African countries should learn from Namibia. Great late president, a true iconic leader, legacy lives on.

      Tanzania went through the same few years ago, so Namibia is not the first country in Africa where a sitting president passes and a new president is sworn in according to the constitution.

    This was honestly the saddest day in our nations history post-independence . Loosing a sitting president leaves one with a deep hurt which is unexplainable. May the soul of our President Dr Hage Geingob aka Grootman aka Hage Lau Lau rest in internal Peace. 🇳🇦🇳🇦🇳🇦🇳🇦🇳🇦🇳🇦

    But why so soon,couldn't this have waited until the late President is buried. It seems as if the Namibian Nation is being let, ruled and forced to do things that doesn't speak to them at all.       I actually expected the whole ritual to be spoken in Namibian. or Swahili .. I'm glad I heard it because I heard something curious about "all inhabitants". Those two words can be a problem given certain circumstances . It tells me that it was not constructed by Africans.

      ​​@@hizstory1813unfortunately there is no language called namibian. There are over 16 ethnic groups, different languages/dialects and different cultures in Namibia.

    Wow, Sam Nujoma, the old man with the black hat and walking stick, father of SWAPO and Namibia. He must be over 95 years old, original Pan Africanist freedom fighter, still here with us. This is a view to treasure, having flashback of student days politics and current affairs.

      He is just a caretaker, transitional president as there is going to be elections this year. He actually said this during his accepted speech. I wonder if people bothered to watch the clip before commenting.

    I don't think Namibia have a local national language that they all can speak. The language that is spoken by most namibians is english. If i were Namibian President I'd include swahili in school curriculum. This would benefit Namibia and Africa in the long run.
