He doesn’t really explain it though. How did they determine the Earth is precessing over a period of 26,000 years? Why are the stars exactly as they were 1000 years ago, and 2000 years ago if the Earth is precessing? Why doesn’t the Earth precess one complete cycle with each complete revolution cycle around the Sun, just as the top he shows precesses one complete cycle with each complete revolution cycle?
No, I don't explain those things...but then, that's not really the point of the video. The point is more of a description of how precession impacts what we see in the sky.

Apart from precession there is one more movement of earths axis which is nod .. it is reducing and increasing of tilt of earths axis with respect to ecliptic. Currently it is 23.45 approx.. but moving towards 22.1.. then again it will go upto approx 24.5 degrees.. topic of cancer and Capricorn will move up and down the latitudes.. this cycle of one up nod or down nod is approx 41000 years... club it wit precession.. you will know correct movement of earth.
I adore your videos about Astronomy and would like to see more of them. But Astrology deserves to be respected the same as people respect Astronomy. Why? Because there are different calculative technics in building a horoscope according to fixed stars or to the motion of the Sun, so this is not about fairytails, this is about tracking and analysis of processes which hapens on the Earth during our lifetime. If Astrologist observes the sky during some event, which happens, and notices the postion of planets - he fixes an event and then can predict it. It is not about fantasies, it is a lot of daily analytical work. But one more time thank you for the videos you create, they are very cool and inspiring.
The Indian astronomical calender which is luni-solar calender, records all the precession of earth and is recorded in historical events of Life and times of Rama in Ramayana .. the great hindu epic and also during life and times of krishna in great Indian epic Mahabharata. The Indian history will be more than 24000 BC old as suryasiddhanta as it records and updates its text for many cycles of precession. The age of vedas is more profound only left for our research.

No. The winter solstice will still be in December (for the northern hemisphere) and the summer solstice will still be in June. The calendar will simply shift to correct for this very slow change because of precession. What WILL change are the background stars. For example, the sun is currently in Pisces during the spring equinox, but it will be in Aquarius hundreds of years from now.
So the calendar will keep June as June (warm)...but in reality....pretending that the calender is not adjusted....June would be cold, right? Great presentation!!! I'm just confused on that.

i agree not much of a dawning if a zone of 30 degree 2148 years is 600 years away. This should tell you how screwed up they all are in agreeing where Aquarius begins. In reality Aquarius has a long pitcher handle or water-rat tail that is the exact same length as Capricorn which would means it covers 60 degrees
I like the idea of the astrological ages just because it’s a cool way to divide up time throughout history, rather than using millennia. It’s just that astrologers spoil it then by saying that it has some magical impact on society.
Its mind boggling how many people disregard this information despise the profound impact the precession of the equinoxes have in everyday life and our cultural and fundamental values, without the ancient's ability to divide the heavens and shape the stars into constellations, we wouldn't have months and years, watching the heavens gave us the ability to understand the passage of time and we're the only species on earth capable of dividing time from milliseconds to lightyears, we also have to take in consideration that we could be the generation that changes zodiac signs during our lifetime, the progression of the equinox affects everything including our calendar and cultural values.

everyone compares axial precession to a spinning top. If you wish to show what the axis of Earth is doing, that is fine, but the causes are totally unrelated. A top's causing force of precession is the circumference of its contact point on the table. That spinning top is circling on an edge of a small circle no matter how big or small that axis ROD is, it has an edge that is rolling around causing the axis to spiral in a precessed circle. The axis of Earth has no rod, and has no table friction that the rod sets on. The precession is strictly gravitational pull of the moon of which a top on a table does not have. In that case a deception is being taught that this force merely exists with anything spinning. If that were true then what good is a gyro.
Well said Richard. I refute this as well. Also, this model maintains that it's this axial angle that creates seasons, but not the proximity of the sun to the earth, yet we all know that when the sun gets closer, the day gets hotter. How can such a contradiction be reconciled?
@@ashypharaoh8407 so you still haven't questioned this yourself yet? Mercury is closer to the sun, thus hotter than earth. Mars, farther from the sun, much cooler. This is where the science ends, and pseudoscience begins. The story is that the farther a planet is away from the sun, the cooler it will be, however, this magically changes because the sun is closer in January, yet it's winter in the northern hemisphere. If you think this contradiction makes sense and you are willing to believe it without question, then you simply aren't paying attention. The fundamental rules of science don't change as drastically as you would have to allow for such a theory. You can't have it both ways, either the sun heats stuff up as it gets closer, or it doesn't. But let's not debate this further until you decide what science you'd like to discuss, pseudoscience or real science...

It would be interesting to calculate the precession values of all planets and our sun. If there is. I don know. Maybe our whole solar system is sort off wobbling together.
So is there an inverse to the ecliptic pole? All that was discussed was the path above earth's northern pole, but no mention of things on the southern pole direction. If there is a southern direction ecliptic pole (and there should be), then we can cross examine the data sets between both, and run experiments that would further help us understand earth's movements. Does such an inverse exist?

Also, why from my porch at night I can see the moon rise like this🌜, I'll go inside take a rest, come back out early in the morning and the moon will set looking like this🌛. From my understanding, thats not a 23° roll. More like a 180° roll. Another, I can see the big dipper rotate around Polaris when it's rising out of the W/NW. We can also see sun spots on radars, that also roll 180° like a clock. We know everything up there isn't rolling, it's Us here on Earth. it is literally the DAWNING of the age of Aquarius, how hard is this to actually understand, we are about 100-400 years away from Aquarius in procession, Age of Pisces began about 60BC-1AD. He literally explained the ages and then tried to negate the concept of ages in a way. Its just a calander system based on using the Zodiac as months in a Great year, Hence "Be born again" because Aries to Pisces was thd New year of the great year cycle.

Be it any art of the Virgin, standing on a waning crescent moon, with child, 12 stars around her head. The crescent is representative of an age, of fertility, of the female cycle, the Uterine Horns of the womb. Its also most fitted for this conversation as the Bull horns. The disc on a head is any star, not just a sun or moon, In that case the head disk is the star in the Big Dipper. I can't find anything about the planets precessing with the earth's axis. It seems the planets have always followed the zodiac as it is now and only move slightly off the ecliptic because their orbits are also slightly tilted.

It is precisely correct, actually. Unlike in your video where you attribute ~2000 years for each Age yet put Pisces at 2600(?) years. 2160 years is the exact length of an Age. It's significance being that the Age of Aquarius will begin circa 2160 AD. Assuming of course, that the Pisces Age began at 1AD with the birth of Jesus who symbolically represents said Age with all the fish references and.....wait for it....the Vesica Pisces that all the Bible thumpers drive around with on their cars. Show your evidence for rate of precession. Show 360 degrees divided by1 degree per 72 years, and show how Polaris (n.star) has moved . Where's your evidence ? Since Galileo the pole star should have shifted about10 degree. Do you see a 10 degree shift ? No
Sure. Just look at where the sun was located along the ecliptic in the star charts of the ancient Egyptians or Chinese at specific times of year. Or look to more modern history. The fact that we have latitude lines on the earth named after Capricorn and Cancer is evidence of this-the sun used to be aligned with those constellations during the equinoxes, but it isn't that way anymore. This is because of precession. I'm not exactly sure why you're contesting this.
Precession of the equinoxes change the constellations at a rate of 1 degree per 71.6 years or 30 degrees each 2,148 years. Yes the tropic cancer and Capricorn move about 10 feet per year. In the last 500 years it would be quite noticeable, that would be 7.6 degrees. What does not change is the Pole star Polaris, if it did we would not have a pole star now, instead it would be a circular path measurable by today's precise astronomical equipment down to arcseconds per day. A few days ago at the spring equinox at sunrise you saw the sun rise a little to the right ( arcseconds ) of the boundary between Pisces and Aquarius. I do not contest precession of the zodiac, i contest the idea that the pole star changes. Can you show data that confirms measurable change, it should be easy with today technology. While your at it, see if you can find data showing parallax. I'm not convinced with bessel and parallax of Cygnus, or Einstein's SRT's confirmation by Eddington's 1919 eclipse. What! No one can repeat those experiments ? I was looking forward to the last great eclipse, as teams attempted to repeat Eddington's confirmation of SRT. Having failed i'm back to Tycho Brahe.

So therefore ancient people would have celebrated Halloween on, say 4th of july. And if ancient people built monuments that marked the solstices and Equinox's, then they would no longer align today, right ? Nope, one example would Newgrange where each winter solstice the rising sun shines down a long shaft to illuminate a craved stone marking the winter solstice, other chambers also mark the other solstices and Equinox's.

Earth ecliptic is Earth orbit, and the average or general path of ALL planets would not be Earth's ecliptic. That is no different than saying Earth is center of solar system if you think the solar plane of the planets is or should be Earth's orbit.
No of course the earth's orbit is not the ecliptic. The ecliptic refers to the apparent path of the sun in the sky-which of course is related to the orbit, but the two are not synonyms.
You misunderstand why i say the ecliptic of sun path is DEFINITELY the Earth orbit. I do not mean where you see the sun in Leo is where the Earth will be when it gets over there 6 months later. I am not saying that the path of the apparent sun will be the path of Earth when Earth gets there, but rather simple math-fact that where the sun is on the line of sight in THAT direction will be the path of Earth on that same orbital diameter line in the opposite direction. What i think of the Um What people. They are the one's who see life their way, not listening to others. Upon meeting someone whose first language is Spanish, or Chinese, or Russian who is learning English, they will here broken English and laugh or do an Um What. Math of 3 days per 400 years is 360 days in 48,000 not 25,600. What few even take note of, (and tell me if YOU ever did), is those 3 days does not correct sidereal orbit into seasonal Gregorian; it corrects Sothic star Julian into seasonal Gregorian. The sidereal is 2.7 days in the other direction, (almost 3). Then if you look at Egyptian SETH which is Alioth, you will find lower culmination changes as 9 days in 400 years, 6 more than sidereal /ecliptic Regulus. Need sky charts? i could post them if you tube were as good as Quora which allows pic posts. In my book i used online Stellarium to find Regulus solar conjunction dates for 25,600 years. The 9-day movement of Seth in 400 years is actually an average because it jumps 11 days from Aug 1 of 2369bc to Aug 12 of 1969bc and 9 days to Aug 21 of 1570nc when Moses was 24, and then 7 days in 1171bc on Aug 28 for dates when Alioth is due south lower culmination at midnight below the pole. thus it is a false sidereal year as a +9 more than Julian in 400 years, in contrast to Regulus on the ecliptic which is a Julian +3 in 400 years. Astronomy programs are nice because you set your temple up anywhere you want it to do your measures instead of building one fro decades and finding you cant get right answers about astronomy. But of course i have to trust the program and i know how to find the faults, as I did when Voyager goofed and i showed the Adler planetarium, so Pitluga made the decision to drop all six copies used by Chicago's six astronomers at the planetarium. Instead i was hoping she would have used clout to get the guy to make the corrections. Instead she just switch sources, and he was beligerent like you, his CEO quit, and i had to wait 12 years for the guy to improve his Voyager between 1990 and 2002. Well, we could design calendars any way we like. It's just that our international standard calendar (the Gregorian calendar) is based on the tropical year (i.e. the cycle of the seasons). The traditional calendar of India is based on the sidereal year, so it's based on what stars you see instead of the seasons. Furthermore the Islamic calendar is even based solely on the moon, so it goes out of sync with the seasons ever faster.

Why are the stars exactly as they were 1000 years ago, and 2000 years ago if the Earth is precessing? Why doesn’t the Earth precess one complete cycle with each complete revolution cycle around the Sun, just as the top he shows precesses one complete cycle with each complete revolution cycle?
No, I don't explain those things...but then, that's not really the point of the video. The point is more of a description of how precession impacts what we see in the sky.

Apart from precession there is one more movement of earths axis which is nod .. it is reducing and increasing of tilt of earths axis with respect to ecliptic. Currently it is 23.45 approx.. but moving towards 22.1.. then again it will go upto approx 24.5 degrees.. topic of cancer and Capricorn will move up and down the latitudes.. this cycle of one up nod or down nod is approx 41000 years... club it wit precession.. you will know correct movement of earth.

I adore your videos about Astronomy and would like to see more of them. But Astrology deserves to be respected the same as people respect Astronomy. Why? Because there are different calculative technics in building a horoscope according to fixed stars or to the motion of the Sun, so this is not about fairytails, this is about tracking and analysis of processes which hapens on the Earth during our lifetime. If Astrologist observes the sky during some event, which happens, and notices the postion of planets - he fixes an event and then can predict it. It is not about fantasies, it is a lot of daily analytical work.

The Indian astronomical calender which is luni-solar calender, records all the precession of earth and is recorded in historical events of Life and times of Rama in Ramayana .. the great hindu epic and also during life and times of krishna in great Indian epic Mahabharata.
The Indian history will be more than 24000 BC old as suryasiddhanta as it records and updates its text for many cycles of precession.
The age of vedas is more profound only left for our research.

No. The winter solstice will still be in December (for the northern hemisphere) and the summer solstice will still be in June. The calendar will simply shift to correct for this very slow change because of precession. What WILL change are the background stars. For example, the sun is currently in Pisces during the spring equinox, but it will be in Aquarius hundreds of years from now.
So the calendar will keep June as June (warm)...but in reality....pretending that the calender is not adjusted....June would be cold, right?

i agree not much of a dawning if a zone of 30 degree 2148 years is 600 years away. This should tell you how screwed up they all are in agreeing where Aquarius begins. In reality Aquarius has a long pitcher handle or water-rat tail that is the exact same length as Capricorn which would means it covers 60 degrees
I like the idea of the astrological ages just because it’s a cool way to divide up time throughout history, rather than using millennia. It’s just that astrologers spoil it then by saying that it has some magical impact on society.
Its mind boggling how many people disregard this information despise the profound impact the precession of the equinoxes have in everyday life and our cultural and fundamental values, without the ancient's ability to divide the heavens and shape the stars into constellations, we wouldn't have months and years, watching the heavens gave us the ability to understand the passage of time and we're the only species on earth capable of dividing time from milliseconds to lightyears, we also have to take in consideration that we could be the generation that changes zodiac signs during our lifetime, the progression of the equinox affects everything including our calendar and cultural values.

everyone compares axial precession to a spinning top. If you wish to show what the axis of Earth is doing, that is fine, but the causes are totally unrelated. A top's causing force of precession is the circumference of its contact point on the table. That spinning top is circling on an edge of a small circle no matter how big or small that axis ROD is, it has an edge that is rolling around causing the axis to spiral in a precessed circle. The axis of Earth has no rod, and has no table friction that the rod sets on. The precession is strictly gravitational pull of the moon of which a top on a table does not have. In that case a deception is being taught that this force merely exists with anything spinning. If that were true then what good is a gyro.

This is where the science ends, and pseudoscience begins. The story is that the farther a planet is away from the sun, the cooler it will be, however, this magically changes because the sun is closer in January, yet it's winter in the northern hemisphere. If you think this contradiction makes sense and you are willing to believe it without question, then you simply aren't paying attention. The fundamental rules of science don't change as drastically as you would have to allow for such a theory. You can't have it both ways, either the sun heats stuff up as it gets closer, or it doesn't. But let's not debate this further until you decide what science you'd like to discuss, pseudoscience or real science...

So is there an inverse to the ecliptic pole? All that was discussed was the path above earth's northern pole, but no mention of things on the southern pole direction. If there is a southern direction ecliptic pole (and there should be), then we can cross examine the data sets between both, and run experiments that would further help us understand earth's movements. Does such an inverse exist?

So how can we explain Ophiuchus hanging out with the sun for a couple months starting in December of last year? Also, why from my porch at night I can see the moon rise like this🌜, I'll go inside take a rest, come back out early in the morning and the moon will set looking like this🌛. From my understanding, thats not a 23° roll. More like a 180° roll. Another, I can see the big dipper rotate around Polaris when it's rising out of the W/NW. We can also see sun spots on radars, that also roll 180° like a clock. We know everything up there isn't rolling, it's Us here on Earth. People shouldn't need fancy terms or expensive equipment to analyze this matter. We were gifted with unique equipment, which it's entirely up to us to really see with our own 👀. it is literally the DAWNING of the age of Aquarius, how hard is this to actually understand, we are about 100-400 years away from Aquarius in procession, Age of Pisces began about 60BC-1AD.
He literally explained the ages and then tried to negate the concept of ages in a way. Its just a calander system based on using the Zodiac as months in a Great year, Hence "Be born again" because Aries to Pisces was thd New year of the great year cycle.
So, the song is saying this dawning is taking several hundred years, like the twilight of dawn takes time to eventually transition to sunrise? I should have been written, "This is the twilight of the days of Aquarius." Regardless, it's probably safe to say the authors of the song didn't really understand that nuance since the rest of the lyrics don't actually point to any specific astrological occurrence.

It is indeed. Its encoded in a lot of familiar things and places. In Mexico the Virgen de Guadalupe is everywhere on decals and banners. Be it any art of the Virgin, standing on a waning crescent moon, with child, 12 stars around her head. The crescent is representative of an age, of fertility, of the female cycle, the Uterine Horns of the womb. Its also most fitted for this conversation as the Bull horns. Below them is the angel, the face of a man which was used to symbol Aquarius. Ezekiel's wheel, banner in the throne room etc. All four fixed signs of the Zodiacal wheel were used. Aquila a bird most often represented Scorpio which is exactly what you see at the center of the Mexican flag thanks to borrowing from the Aztec and earlier Maya (the Valedictorians of earth & sky). The mythology follows the constellations thru the figure 8. At the cusp of Aries / Pisces we see the Lamb born, as he grows we see many parable's of teaching using the Fish. It is interesting to note in Revelation 12 the dragon using his tail and flung 1/3 of the stars to the earth. She has 12 around her head so four came down or you could say were in use. Her standing on those horns indicate that season of the Great Year marked by Taurus and conjoined with Aries and Pisces had turned on the wheel and the new Age and month is being birthed (Dawning as you say)., Its rather fitting because as the new baby crowns, her water must break, no better symbol to have below her than the water sign Aquarius. Research some art on this Mother, this Queen of Heaven, you'll see her holding some stems of flowers and some showing her holding a staff with a banner of Mexico next to it. Those flower stems or the staff is indicating axial tilt and they are at very close to 23.5 degrees from perpendicular. I would reckon it is where the church got the 6000 year age of the world from even though that wheel has been turning a long long while. That Eagle eg Aquila marking Scorpio on the Mexican flag, if its representing the last platonic month or the Season marked by Scorpio then that may indicate something most significate happened some 14 to 18 kya which somebody took note of and passed it down till this day. Or it could all be non sense. The baby born in a sheep manger eg The Lamb, the Fisher of men, walking on water, and into as you note born again eg Aquarius to rinse and repeat. Clarified. From books i have seen the phrase 100-year seth cycle. I have seen 400-year Seth cycle. The Dendra ceiling map shows Seth is the star Alioth. The disc on a head is any star, not just a sun or moon, In that case the head disk is the star in the Big Dipper. So when Gregorian is 3-day seasonal sun drift from Julian calendar of Sothic star Sirius. I have an interest in what SETH does. To my surprise last week Seth advances 3 days in 100 years and 9 days in 400 years. The advance is when Seth is over north pole, or under north pole (i used midnight). Well then, that means the 3 day per 400 year is strictly Leo Regulus not Seth. And it must be a confusion of Seth 3-day per 100-year with Regulus 3-day per 400-year. Then Thubna in the 2170bc main shaft failed them the 100-year measure for 25 leap days because it vanishes into the floor of the shaft in 92 years. And you must walk up the shaft to see the star as years go by, because this will widen the view. I can't find anything about the planets precessing with the earth's axis. It seems the planets have always followed the zodiac as it is now and only move slightly off the ecliptic because their orbits are also slightly tilted.

It is precisely correct, actually. Unlike in your video where you attribute ~2000 years for each Age yet put Pisces at 2600(?) years. 2160 years is the exact length of an Age. It's significance being that the Age of Aquarius will begin circa 2160 AD. Assuming of course, that the Pisces Age began at 1AD with the birth of Jesus who symbolically represents said Age with all the fish references and.....wait for it....the Vesica Pisces that all the Bible thumpers drive around with on their cars. Ironic, considering that Astrology is the basis of all religion. So how did you come to the conclusion that it is all "nonsense"? Was it through your in depth and unbiased study of the subject or was it derived from the fact that it is many thousands of years old and revered by all of the greatest minds in history? I'm curious.

What I do know is somehow a long calendar, a Great Year calendar just came full cycle and is about to start anew. I also know that day one of that calendar puts that day squarely in the middle of the maximum extent of the last glacial period of the Quarternary, LGM approx. 25,000 ago. So what our youth need to be asking as their out in this materialistic world trying to find themselves is. How much trial and error, how many years, ages, how many complete precession's, how many Great Years did it take for the ancients to get it right. In fact got it right down to 50 arcseconds per solar year. They need to understand there is Order above them, its chiseled in the constellations and on terrestrial megaliths and architectural design. It is everywhere. Its as much a part of us as we are it. Show your evidence for rate of precession. Show 360 degrees divided by1 degree per 72 years, and show how Polaris (n.star) has moved . Where's your evidence ? Since Galileo the pole star should have shifted about10 degree. Do you see a 10 degree shift ? No
Sure. Just look at where the sun was located along the ecliptic in the star charts of the ancient Egyptians or Chinese at specific times of year. Or look to more modern history. The fact that we have latitude lines on the earth named after Capricorn and Cancer is evidence of this-the sun used to be aligned with those constellations during the equinoxes, but it isn't that way anymore. This is because of precession.

Precession of the equinoxes change the constellations at a rate of 1 degree per 71.6 years or 30 degrees each 2,148 years. Yes the tropic cancer and Capricorn move about 10 feet per year. In the last 500 years it would be quite noticeable, that would be 7.6 degrees. What does not change is the Pole star Polaris, if it did we would not have a pole star now, instead it would be a circular path measurable by today's precise astronomical equipment down to arcseconds per day. A few days ago at the spring equinox at sunrise you saw the sun rise a little to the right ( arcseconds ) of the boundary between Pisces and Aquarius. I do not contest precession of the zodiac, i contest the idea that the pole star changes. Can you show data that confirms measurable change, it should be easy with today technology. While your at it, see if you can find data showing parallax. I'm not convinced with bessel and parallax of Cygnus, or Einstein's SRT's confirmation by Eddington's 1919 eclipse. What! No one can repeat those experiments ? I was looking forward to the last great eclipse, as teams attempted to repeat Eddington's confirmation of SRT. Having failed i'm back to Tycho Brahe.

So therefore ancient people would have celebrated Halloween on, say 4th of july. And if ancient people built monuments that marked the solstices and Equinox's, then they would no longer align today, right ? Nope, one example would Newgrange where each winter solstice the rising sun shines down a long shaft to illuminate a craved stone marking the winter solstice, other chambers also mark the other solstices and Equinox's.

Earth ecliptic is Earth orbit, and the average or general path of ALL planets would not be Earth's ecliptic. That is no different than saying Earth is center of solar system if you think the solar plane of the planets is or should be Earth's orbit.
No of course the earth's orbit is not the ecliptic. The ecliptic refers to the apparent path of the sun in the sky-which of course is related to the orbit, but the two are not synonyms.
You misunderstand why i say the ecliptic of sun path is DEFINITELY the Earth orbit. I do not mean where you see the sun in Leo is where the Earth will be when it gets over there 6 months later. I am not saying that the path of the apparent sun will be the path of Earth when Earth gets there, but rather simple math-fact that where the sun is on the line of sight in THAT direction will be the path of Earth on that same orbital diameter line in the opposite direction. MY POINT OR ISSUE is that Earth is ecliptic, Earth is not the WHOLE plane of the solar system. And likewise solar system plane (the solar system ecliptic) is not that of Earth with sun. What i think of the Um What people. They are the one's who see life their way, not listening to others. Upon meeting someone whose first language is Spanish, or Chinese, or Russian who is learning English, they will here broken English and laugh or do an Um What. Correcting them will be more important than what they say. There is a balance to this, for example i had a Russian friend who threw a fit that i told him we use the word prophylactic for condom not a rubber protector for an iPhone. What do you do when the seasonal sun in 400 years goes 3 days less than rising Sothic star; BUT rising Regulus sidereal star goes 3 days more than Sothic star in 400 years; BUT circling polar star Seth goes 9 days more than Sothic star (6 days more than sidereal Regulus)? This is what the grid precession does making its slide on the ecliptic for a Sothic star south of ecliptic and a Seth star twisting from the curve of the polar axis path. Math of 3 days per 400 years is 360 days in 48,000 not 25,600. What few even take note of, (and tell me if YOU ever did), is those 3 days does not correct sidereal orbit into seasonal Gregorian; it corrects Sothic star Julian into seasonal Gregorian. The sidereal is 2.7 days in the other direction, (almost 3). Then if you look at Egyptian SETH which is Alioth, you will find lower culmination changes as 9 days in 400 years, 6 more than sidereal /ecliptic Regulus. Need sky charts? i could post them if you tube were as good as Quora which allows pic posts. In my book i used online Stellarium to find Regulus solar conjunction dates for 25,600 years. The 9-day movement of Seth in 400 years is actually an average because it jumps 11 days from Aug 1 of 2369bc to Aug 12 of 1969bc and 9 days to Aug 21 of 1570nc when Moses was 24, and then 7 days in 1171bc on Aug 28 for dates when Alioth is due south lower culmination at midnight below the pole. thus it is a false sidereal year as a +9 more than Julian in 400 years, in contrast to Regulus on the ecliptic which is a Julian +3 in 400 years. Astronomy programs are nice because you set your temple up anywhere you want it to do your measures instead of building one fro decades and finding you cant get right answers about astronomy. But of course i have to trust the program and i know how to find the faults, as I did when Voyager goofed and i showed the Adler planetarium, so Pitluga made the decision to drop all six copies used by Chicago's six astronomers at the planetarium. Instead i was hoping she would have used clout to get the guy to make the corrections. Instead she just switch sources, and he was beligerent like you, his CEO quit, and i had to wait 12 years for the guy to improve his Voyager between 1990 and 2002. Well, we could design calendars any way we like. It's just that our international standard calendar (the Gregorian calendar) is based on the tropical year (i.e. the cycle of the seasons).
The traditional calendar of India is based on the sidereal year, so it's based on what stars you see instead of the seasons. Furthermore the Islamic calendar is even based solely on the moon, so it goes out of sync with the seasons ever faster.
