What a fantastic fun day in AK followed by MK. I have not been since Genie plus started, but def feel like its worth the additional cost. Def when you can cut down on wait times like u did today on so many rides. Im def not looking forward to leaving parks at end of thr night amongst those crowds headed to Pop, as have heard you can be waiting awhile for a bus. I think stopping and finding somewhere to sit for awhile is a good decision.
I’m behind on these so I’m sure you’ve realised by now but there are no Hollywood Studios / Epcot buses because of the skyliner. They only run buses if the skyliner is down :) don’t want you stood at a bus stop waiting 😂 I completely agree with you about appetite loss in the heat too - I become a salad fiend at Disney! I’ve added that chicken salad from Flame Tree BBQ to my list for our next trip!
Loved this I’m going ack to wdw in sept and I really don’t want to buy genie plus out of principle (I miss fastpasses) but looking at the queue times I feel I may cave when I get there and see those times 🫣🫣🫣 I feel your mums pain I ride flight of passage every trip but each time I get so far and have to shut my eyes for the rest of the ride as it makes me feel terrible 🤢 but it’s such an incredible ride xx

Hi! I'm new here. Was Enchantment the first fireworks show you've seen? Happily Ever After was my diest fireworks show and I was devestated when they said they were getting rid of it. I think whichever show is your first show, is most sentimental to you. Nothing will ever top HEA for me. BTW, I'm new here. Viewer from Oklahoma, USA. We love WDW in our family (me, husband and 3 kids). My husband and I celebrate our 20th wedsing anniversary this December and have decided to celebrate by going there just the 2 of us in January!
Hey Veronica, thanks so much for commenting. We used to go to WDW as a family when I was younger, but prior to going last august, we hadn’t been for 13 years. You’re absolutely right - Enchantment was the first fireworks show I saw as an adult and I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. I don’t think anything could beat it because I LOVED it. It’s cute isn’t it. It was mums ‘boo boo’! We just put them down by our feet on most rides. There are a few rides in universal where you need to put them in (free lockers). But nearly all rides they just go in the footwell :) xx
It defo detracts from the overall enjoyment because you have to spend the WHOLE DAY forward planning in order to maximise it. That said, I wouldn’t be without it because I don’t have the patience to queue. Disney have got me right where they want me haha. Thanks for commenting x

WDW is going down the hill with charging to get on rides. Damn genie pass that’s craziness and I live here.
