Siva or (shee-va) was the very first single from the very first Smashing Pumpkins albums, Gish. This is an amazing early performance by the band at the 1992 Reading Festival. Oh very nice t-shirt, first time i see that one! Another great video ;), Gish's guitar solos and songs arragment are the most rocknroll sound Pumpkins ever had in my opinion, i feel like the pumpkins sound is mostly Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie, and then its kinda mixed up and in a good way until 2015 maybe. But Gish is still a great great solid album!
Smashing Pumpkins was borderline groove metal, at times. Nice vid!!💪
Pumpkins are borderline MANY genres metal and otherwise. One of the things that make SP so great is their fluidity in switching genres and making it make sense. They effortlessly go from metal to brushing up on folk and it totally makes sense somehow.

Gish is a great record. Great songs going from loud to psychedelic chilled grooviness.
Yeah Gish is great! Perfect for the time too. The early 90’s had kind of a love affair with the 70’s and Gish was sorta of this perfect blend of this new ‘alternative’ sound with some flavors of that psychedelic 70’s sound. 😎💖

Ya… I actually know that but didn’t realize until editing I said ‘Reed-ing’. I am not sure why it came out like that in the moment. lol, oh well. I mispronounced and randomly insert words all the time while filming, I had to get over it long ago.
