🤣👍
So how do you get around if you essentially can’t use taxis?
You can use taxis, but just insist they use the meter before they start driving. Also the buses and trains are extremely convenient and affordable.
They also have GRAB which is like their version of UBER
EXCELLENT Video
🙌🤙thanks

lol Bangkok scammers wont even know what hit them after you guys roll through.:) Butch Casity and the Sundance Kid:) and Anny Okley covering your back.:)
Lol
Slick scammers, they make me laugh 😆. It amazes me how you can smile at someone and screw them over at the same time.
The best scammer is the one who doesn't let you know that you're being scammed
Same thing happened yesterday to us.. 1 gentle man came to us and said this time closed for tourists only after One hour.. till then let's go for boat ride n send us to other direction 😱😱 we fooled by so called teacher.. on the way.. . Tuk tuk also was stand by there. ..
I'm so sorry to hear that
Very informative. You have the right to remain silent, you have the right to an eternity etc.😂😂

@@FR-mq2xc lol, thanks man!
Ngl I enjoyed and rewatched today. Did anybody notice you saying $8 for 1 is the same price as $12 for 2🤣
lol, you're the first to notice that one hahahaha
The lucky Buddha is different than the leaning Buddha. At the lucky one you’ll meet the Thai tourist that speaks perfect English, usually talking business on the phone to someone, but he will take the time to tell you about this amazing gem sale, only today on this special holiday…. I love a listening to a good scam. At the tailor store the Indian chap got very angry and told me I have to buy. I told him that I would call my brother/in-law who works for the Thai tourist police, he told me to get out, and looked very worried after that. I tipped the tuktuk driver and said that this was for the entertainment he had supplied
Great insights!! Next time I'm gonna go with the flow and film each step of the scam
1ST TIME BEING ON THIS CHANNEL AND I LIKED IT

I just keep walking and ignore the badge and the sales pitch. Being polite to scammers is taken as a sign of weakness.
True, but after that being polite might save your ass. Never get angry and make their face look bad. Worst thing that can overcome them AND you if you do so.
@@chris1978nl some Thai guy walked up to me and starts yelling that have been fined 500 baht while he is sticks his bogas badge six inches from my face is a form of assault.
I have no reason before, during or after to be polite. I pushed his badge back into his face.
If you had been there that is your right to show weakness and be polite.
As for me, I will never be polite to someone who violates my personal space.
Just saying.
This is why I stay home and watch RUclips.
🤣
This happen to me yesterday..guy direct me to expensive clothing store own by middle Eastern then motorcycle guy waited for us outside to take us to River lol .
Do you know what is was or were you caught off guard?
Good video 😀
🤙thanks John
You guys are hillarious! xD
🤣🤙
Use bolt app for taxis. You can choose to pay cash and it's the same price for everyone. Also you can get food delivery too. Learn to say no. Always get a price beforehand. I'm here right now. Some people are being so nice for repeat business. Others want a big one time payoff.

Djeesus! :) you guys are good. 555 i never see that in Bangkok. well at tourist areas the meter is sometimes broken. Just change taxi, make them stop in the middle of the road.
Jesse do you know a american cowboy? Take him with you and go with the scammers on their route. It would be the perfect insane history of the year. I swear!!!! Jason Rupp?
Trust me...their meters are not broken. Never get in a taxi until he agrees to use the meter.
Hahaha, thank you. I got 2 scams last year :)
Now I know it was really scam.
🤣🤙
Thanks for the warnings!
No problem
even if they use the taximeter , theres a new video going around where the meter runs up verry fast , seems they found a way to raise the price per distance using a small switch near the steeringwheel , the man recording the video was caught recording it by the driver who switched the fast mode off immediately so even on the meter keep an eye on it to check how fast its running up and keep youre camera in youre hands just in case , allso make a picture of the licenceplate and the face of the driver
Whoa, that's nuts
I found that most of the scammers are not Thai citizens, but rather from Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and even from Myanmar.
Interesting
Always get a “taxi meter”, metered taxi. Tuk Tuks are unmetered and dangerous but always worth a ride for the thrill!
No map he started laughing hard. In his mind he saw Bhat
2 thousand baht for a taxi ride is a terrible price for any place you probably went to. 500 baht at most
Yep
How old is that Police ID and where did he get it from? Looks like something from the 1970.
Met a tuk tuk driver at Phanfa Bridge, around the time of the Kings Funeral, I was going to Khao San Road, and I had a map. Very hard to shake him off, but I didn't take the bait.
This looks like important information to know in your video.
One tip. I was smart t shirt (polo shirt) smart 3/4 length shorts.my thai friend she says " yes you are ok" but some have to cover, it is true but you do not pay for pants.! For me temples never any problem.
Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks great hilarious !
