Takagi is supposed to be Mitsurugi's rival from Soul Blade. The guy who shoots Mitsurugi with a rifle because he wanted to prove that his skills were unmatched to a rifle.
soul calibur 2 's three major systems it came out on each had a special exclusive character. The gamecube had Link (Legend of Zelda), XBOX had Spawn, and the PS2 had Heihache (Tekken).
you have to complete one of the challenges in adventure mode with many of the berserkers in order to win him. He isn't a lost character. you just need to play the whole game to look for him.

Q.Takagi isn't really secret. she is Cassandra's 2nd costume with Kilik's Kali-Yuga and her fighting style is Mitsurugi's. She's Actually and Edited Cassandra

You have to get certain costumes for certain characters. like you can play Siegfried on #2 if you get Nightmares 3rd costume

@PrimaPunchy If you went back thru to play the extra missions in the Sword Master mode, you could fight to unlock Assassin, Berserker, and Lizardman

Wrong, Inferno WAS Cervantes in Soul Blade (SC1), but in SC2 it was actually Nightmare.
