Brilliant. It's been some years that I don't watch this clip. I was panicking I might not find it again. Thank God it's here. I long to go back to Mali
@@grawakendream8980 this is a popular song in Mali dedicated to a brave warrior name keme Bourama. He was the young brother of samory Toure who fought against French troop and fight colonisation. ( you can google samory) . The song peak about his bravery and loyalty to his brother
Hard to express how much I love this clip. Thank you tout puissant! I love the way Kassemady has just been sitting there the whole time, and doesn't make a sound until 4:25 (!).
trop top.......le mandingue est très riche. ..la Gambie, le Sénégal, la côte d'Ivoire, la Guinée, le Mali, le Burkina ,la sierra leone,le Libéria, la guinee- bissau etc
@ Ina Fatoumata Kebe, you're right. It's Maninkakan or "Manding ka" as we Gambians would pronounce. The manding ka we Gambians speak results from the incorporation of other languages our ancestors had encountered when they migrated to the area. Nice... I luv my culture.

Oh no, Kasse Mady is late? Sorry to hear that. Peace to his soul.
Ameen.
Its not bambara, its maninkakan (called malinké in french). Its like bambara but with a different accent
Fatoumata,
Bear with me but I didnt know there was a difference. I have always termed this as Bambara Kang. I am a Gambian Mandinka :-(
To us all the Eastern languages are Bambara \Tilibonka kang.
oh ok i see, there are slight but noticeable differences between the two
