I’m not sure good guys is the term. They made a business decision to hold firm on their prices. Which is quite frankly too high. Whoever made the decision hurt the standing of their brand. It was a bad call.
Good guy gone bust. I bet no one ever thought buy even 1 from FM. Why buy FM when you can buy Rolex tht easily being on demand than sitting undesirable FM.
Rolex did it to themselves. See this case of watches? You can't buy any of them. Buy 30k in jewelry you don't want and we might sell you one. Or, walk in and buy it today. You tell me who ruined it...
I prefer the market this way with these resellers I can not only get a way better deal on older available watches it was easier to sell them close to what I spent also
Franck Muller has never been super duper quiet. Muller has created some of the most iconic complicated watches, starting from when he graduated watchmaker school in Switzerland. Muller watches are one of a kind complications, all hand made. He gave the real reason he doesn’t carry Muller, they fought him and Grey market dealers legally and he gave up, so he doesn’t try to buy/sell Franck Muller watches. Any Muller is better than the mass produced Rolex junk he sells. He sells Rolex only because most people who buy Rolex are fooled by the brand name. They think Rolex are the best watches when in fact they aren’t. Real watch aficionados know Rolex are mass produced just like Timex, but of better parts and more hype to raise the prices. But are they really worth the current prices? NO
The Grey Market didn't kill Franck Muller, they killed themselves. They actually build a decent watch, but standing on the necks of secondary dealers backfired on them. 👍
I refuse to even look at watches know. These guys have killed the market with all this BS that everyone is trying to pass knockoffs. Unless its someone you personally know, chances are you are getting scammed when you buy a “high end” watch.
FM use mainly eta 2892.. So you buy a watch.. That watch cost max $500 and i know because i worked at the factory.. FM master of complications.. They do good complicated watches. But mainly its rip off!!
The logo is usually copyrighted and not legal to use without permission. And if you are using photos/advertising straight from my web site, I PAID money for them... So No. Do your OWN photos and advertizing. As for ReSelling my product, go for it... it won't have a warrenty. But other than that I don't care.
Franck Muller hasn't been quite, they just prefer that actual collectors own their watches and that used car salesman like Adrian stay away from the brand.
Incorrect. He was a pepsi head got into it with the *lbanians & brand covertly and legally went over to them to cover his debts. The legal register confirms the ownership change. All documented and reported on by various outlets.
They failed to realize that a strong secondary market is actually good for manufacturers. If the secondary market has such a high demand, then it doesn’t really matter what the manufacturers put out or at what price, it will instantly sell out and hit the secondary market. Look at Nike for example. Hardly matters what new shoe is coming out, it’s basically always sold out because people want to resell the shoes. In cases like Nike it’s horrible for the consumers because they are forced to pay outrageous prices for shoes they would’ve been able to buy in stores normally. In cases like Rolex it’s a little different. Yes consumers have to pay more on the secondary market, but these are watches they never would have to opportunity to purchase at retail (or at all) in the first place.
This. When it was time to buy my first high end watch maybe 2005 I was going to buy a FM but a jeweler friend said if you ever want out of that watch you’re going to take a massive loss so go buy a Rolex
Muller watches looks great, they make Rolex look like mass produced metal. Its all about hype and bs! You go througg the Rolex catalogue and if they werent a famous brand you wouldnt be impresed by the looks and design.
They are probably trying to build a loyal client base you buy your first watch or something for your kid then as you move up to more expensive stuff in your collection you stay with the same company you already built a relationship with
Franck Muller
The brand Richard Mille copied.
So FM were actually the good guys.
I’m not sure good guys is the term. They made a business decision to hold firm on their prices. Which is quite frankly too high. Whoever made the decision hurt the standing of their brand. It was a bad call.

You mean good as in shady then yes. They had connections to the russian mafia. Guess that’s good?
Had a franck muller when i was 18, i had the crazy hours,it was 7k back then, now its like 27k.
Cease and decease 😂
@ilooklikeafleayes, he was quoting the guy in the video, who got it wrong 🤦♂️
You killed the legitimate watch market!
Rolex did it to themselves. See this case of watches? You can't buy any of them. Buy 30k in jewelry you don't want and we might sell you one.

@@albertstrohmaier4034💯
@@albertstrohmaier4034 i understand what you mean but it wasnt just rolex many factors have killed the watch market
I prefer the market this way with these resellers I can not only get a way better deal on older available watches it was easier to sell them close to what I spent also
The complete opposite the grey market keeps these brands alive
Sneakers market, playstation market, watches is next
It’s the free market. It’s not a bad thing even though the brands would like to charge you whatever they want.
I did way to much coke with Frank (and Christoph Claret) in St Tropez in the summer of 2003. Those guys sure loved to party. 😅
I’ll take “Things that never happened” for 800 Alex.
.....a clear example of all that is wrong with grey consignment....
Mullers are still beautiful
Don’t be so full of yourself to think you’ve affected the market/ sales of the FM brand in any way shape or form.
Imagine not watching a short that's just a minute long where he says all other online gray market dealers did the same.
Plus they use basic movements and charge premium prices
Can you give me an understanding of the brand I honestly do you like to watch design and all but I don’t know much about them?
@@dannyj6584 If you want to learn more about watches I’d recommend you check out a couple channels:
Teddy Baldassarre
and Watchfinder & co
True & not true
First second of this I legit thought they were saying FM had the most quiet movements that didn't tick
Does this mean if I tried to come in and sell my Vanguard (V41SCBRNRTTB-B) to them they wouldn’t buy it?
The Long Island Color Dreams is still epic.
They’re good watches. I love their look. But they’re price point and unwillingness to adept, and work with partners, have hurt their prestige.
Apparently FM lose 40% of their value in the 1st year & by the 5th year on the market there’s fuck all value left in the watch
I think part of that is they don’t have these gray market dealers hyping them up.
I've never recieved a cease and deceased.
And this is why the grey market didn't work out so well in the end!

success.fratelo.
LOVE THAT ATTITUDE
So pretty much you made FM go out of business 😆
This guys wishes.
Id buy a frank muller 365 days
Discretion is priceless
Doesnt Franck muller use ETA movements??😂
I don’t like reselling but you gotta do what you gotta do, but don’t use their photos, they paid for a photographer to work on those
How were you getting 30-40% off from the AD?
Do you now own a Red Bull jacket ? Lol
I wouldn't buy a watch thats missing 5 6 7
That’s the way it should be
FREE MARKET

I think that’s what he was trying to say in this video.
I love Franck Muller watches. They kind of fucked themselves over.
Yes they did , I couldn’t sell mine , nobody want it.
I am a money magnet ❤I received money easily and effortlessly ❤
Wow
I literally thought they were a fake Richard Mille until I saw a diamond one was 42k
They’re a genuine watch brand fr.
It’s because of you guys or whatever you are : genuine watch lovers cannot afford decent brands of watches 😂😂😂😂

uh, what? can you please explain this in plain english, please?
Honestly I respect the brand more for this.

Fantastic hoodie #Team LH
This is going happen to RM. YOU'LL SEE. NEAL
Like any business, you can have excellent products/service but the politics can kill it.
petronas brand. 😂
Frank Muller: don’t sell my watches
Roman: good luck
🤣
Don't get involved with FM, the movement is poor, and you will never get yr money back, they lose value
Good to know to not ever own one.

So FM bitched themselves out of wayyy more profits just because of their attitude towards hustlers lmao
Its trash is why
Is Frank Mueller the Dogecoin of overpriced watches? 🤔
One of them do it the rest of them will..
Garmin? Really? When’s the last time you sold a garmin watch. Give me a break.
You’re missing the point
