I honestly cant understand how this entire album isn't widely considered to be one of the greatest metalcore albums of all-time.

I don’t get it either. Whoever writes their lyrics (I’m guessing lead singer) is a fricking ARTIST man. He definitely doesn’t hurry over the lyrics- thats for sure. I don’t know many bands that can describe depression as well as Polaris. It’s unbelievable…
@@coryjohnson2486 I've been thinking bro, Polaris writes like no other band ever, music-wise as well as lyric-wise. They are so damn differrent, but not just different, they're also good.

The lead singer DEFINITELY knows EXACTLY what depression is. The way he describes it in this song is unbelievable…

The solo is cool but that slow groovy riff they get into at 2:56 is just sooo good. Rarely make to the end of the song without skipping back to jam to it again!
What makes Polaris special to me is how they are able to make a very catchy riffs without needing to be technically complex.
