A great video of the 8th Avenue line, back in 1973. Especially, with all the different types of subway cars from the R10s to the R44s. I still remember it from 1973. I was 9 years old.
😱😃😃👍👍 You nailed it!! The 70’s are when I rode the Subway the most as a teen. Would get on at 175 and for the most part went to Rockefeller Center. Love the original Unimark platform signs and the mix of the old and new signs. Blew me away with the incandescent lights @ 96 St!!! Still looking to see if you have any orange bannisters ( there were many around until painted yellow). 19:22 OMG!! Early 70s period perfect Chiffon Margarin Mother Nature ad!!!!! BTW - The Mother Nature actress was the female narrator on WDW’s Epcot Horizons!!
