I think this was a great comparison. I'd be interested in your thoughts on Grocery Store Tycoon when I release my demo next month. I've been working on it for 4 years and am excited to get it out there!
The answer is pretty straight forward, If you mostly play single player games and likes that, then Supermarket simulator is definitely the better option, However if you like multiplayer Grocery store simulator is what you wanna go for
Supermarket simulator you can change the store name - it just costs $250, but you’ve been able to do it for weeks. Plus it literally shows what’s coming soon in SS in the corner of the welcome screen
so it does, maybe its just because of the appearance of it my brain just completely blanked it, im not a fan of the menus of supermarket simulator. maybe they should also consider the first name change to be free on the first day because its you starting your store
@@SurvivalScottalso there’s some good mods that add mechanics the developers should really add themselves such as being able to order more than 10 things at a time, order stock by middle clicking the ticket on the shelf or in stockroom (without running backwards and forwards to the computer) and employee training to increase their speed. I will probably get grocery store in a sale but Supermarket simulator is a lot of fun in small doses
I purchased both car mechanic simulator and supermarket simulator from PlayStation store. Both damn game is made by Unity. Both game is broken. It will not let you hire a 2nd cashier. In car mechanic you sell car parts. You make money quicker than supermarket simulator. But I don’t like that it doesn’t let you hire a second cashier. Waste of money. $9.99 per game.
From this video I can tell I would enjoy grocery store simulator a lot more. Not having coop on supermarket simulator honestly is a deal breaker for me.
I’ve put in about 85 hrs to supermarket simulator - want to support them as they’ve got lots of great features planned, but it’s really a grind unlocking later licenses.
I chose Supermarket Simulator and I’m glad I did. The graphics look better and I prefer growing a store in the city. You haven’t expanded your store so you’re still really early. I think both games seem to have forgotten the fun elements. At times, it feels like playing a job. Once they add shoplifters, that may be a good step.
@@circle1c since my comment I’ve been playing grocery store simulator and been having a blast. Got my store to level six. I don’t know why but supermarket simulator just felt off to me.
You'd said supermarket sim doesn't have a roadmap of upcoming features being worked on, but in the game footage used it's in the same spot as grocery store sim. It's an easy thing to miss, I don't blame you, and great work on the rest of the vid! Aside from that font hurting my eyes, I agree that grocery sim has the better computer layout
Price hack, remove cents and round up. None of these games doesnt make your gameplay any worser if you take cents away and round up either up or down, you save time at cashier by alot.
you can but i guess its how close to realism you want, as a simulator game i tend to try to play them as realistically as possible, if im just messing about then i go silly with the prices just for fun
I may sound that way but that's because I genuinely enjoyed grocery store simulator more than supermarket simulator, although I have been playing more supermarket simulator than grocery store because of the employees aspect, but I have just tried GS new update which is employees and they have done it better.
Should I do a mini series on both or do a standalone video once I've got further in both comparing them again?
sure do a mini series
A mini series would be nice. :)

What about supermarket together which is FREE vs supermarket simulator ?

As a Texan of Scottish decent and also being a man with a middle name of Scott, this video gets a like and sub!
I've been playing grocery store simulation and I'm loving it, I've been watching a RUclipsr play it.
That's awesome!
What youtuber

Multiplayer, Grocery Store Wins

thanks and yeah thats a big error on my part, someone else recently pointed it out to me
It seems you and I have similar taste in other games so I'm gonna take your word and pick up Grocery Store Sim.
how you finding it so far?
good video 👍
Thank you 👍
I do want to play this game even though there are things I like more about Supermarket Simulator I like them both.
The cash registers I'm used to actually usually have the cash to the right and card to the left.
maybe different stores just have different ones, it would be cool if they put in the option to choose which you want
@@SurvivalScott That is true and yes an option is a good idea :)

you sir sound SUPER biased between these two games. Chill the vibes man
