Seeing Rachel cry made me cry too..I know how it feels to have your parents moving away from you and staying far. It is painful, but it's part of life we all have to learn to live an independent life, parents will never be around with us. I can never imagine being away from my parents especially mom.
Be strong Rachel at least you have Logesh and your two sons. You are blessed 🙏🏽🙏🏽!!
Always smile, and remember the world is very small now you have video call, you can talk to your parents anytime you want.
Good luck with everything and always stay happy ❤❤!!
    Lots of love from Bangkok🇹🇭!!

I don’t think I have ever commented on YT. But this struck a chord. And hit very close to home. So close.
I’m a Malaysian and my husband lives in California…I will be moving soon, away from my family, to be with my husband. When I think of the day where I have to say goodbye to my family, fiends and life here, it makes me scared and emotional.
Your last sentence Rachel, “goodbyes are really hard, even if it’s for a good reason”, is so true.
Praying that all of us who are away/ apart from our loves ones, find peace and happiness; and that our loved ones are healthy, happy and blessed always. ❤

Especially when you have live alone and figure everything out step by step, yet you miss them every second! I just pray god for my parents great health. Also take care Lokesh and Rachel, this is only going to make you stronger! And Grandpa and mini you were and are the best!! when I was watching this video all I could think of is my grandpa who is now happily looking at me from above for the good things I am doing in life, and I miss him a lot! too big of a comment, but stay strong guys, we love you!

Rachel, it is so heartbreaking to see you bidding farewell to your parents😭 It made me shedding tears as I can relate to you. My position is like Logesh. I had to move to Australia away from my parents and siblings to be with my partner, so the homesickness is so constant but thanks to technology, I can be close to my parents via video calls. I know it's not the same but knowing how they are doing every week via video call gives me the assurance that I'm aware of their well being. Lots of love to you and your parents.❤

I always loved and enjoy grandpa's spontaneous and sporting attitude when being part of the videos reacting to food and culture, and I am so glad that grandpa and mimi get to enjoy Asian fusion family lifestyle, moreover understanding the importance of the kids growing up with grandparents (the pros and cons) as Americans don't tend to do that. This truly brings an extra flavour for the Kumaar family and especially for Rachel as both Logesh and Rachel bridges the good of both cultures together (though the heartache of temporary separation is inevitable) .
Hope to see you again grandpa and mimi! This gives the Kumaar family more opportunity to visit different states and families too.
(ps: Yes, I cried as well, we cry with you, but we will see them again. HUGS)

    Hi Rachel and Kumaar!
I know our words can't do much but we hope it comforts you. It is OK to mourn and feel sad. After, it reaffirms us that we are humans, capable of love and tender. There is no love without sadness.
But, do rejoice by the fact that this separation is also a poignant moment for you and us, the viewers. That dreams never stop. Your parents, for how long must have dreamed this. This is prove that age is no barrier of reaching your dreams. Ageing is not to slow us down, it is the fuel to keep us going. I was inspired by your parents finally achieving their dreams and I am sure I am not alone in this.
I hope time will be your comfort and warmth and may you always have each other to lean on...
