Glad things are moving forward with Anytone. I love my Anytone radios. However, I'm still looking for them to release a base unit...It will be a huge hit I believe. Thanks for the video.
I bought a 6666 pro it wil not transmit on the cb bad it says "dc low" I know my power supply works perfect its 30 amps. The radio transmits on all other bands just fine. It was operating beautifuly for an hour before it started doing this. Dissapointed .
you well love it i had the org, gave it away free becuse i got it free but this new one 6666pro love it now i guss couse of all the newer add on mic is a little biger with the pf, button added on again you will love it
Thanks for the vid! The transceiver has a heavy flaw: it's priced too close to some President models offering the same or better performance. I like Anytone, but I stay with AT-5555 NII instead.
That’s great another radio to buy, curious if this one will be menu driven for service adjustments like the latest Quad 5’s, any thoughts on that Mike. Thanks for the video.
This is a good catch for low price. Can you now adjust echo time and level in menu ? In older radios you must it adjust inside. How many 💰 will it cost ? President washington is 398 Euro here in germany. Find this nicer for home base. This 6666 pro is good for car.
I haven't noticed a screen film protector. Then again I'm very careful and try not to ever get anything that could scratch the display. The original model came with one so assuming these probably do as well. I never really noticed it on my original one until it started developing some minor surface scratches.
Hello Scott. Thanks for the video. I have the original 6666 and did the easy 3 button conversion. I am interested in purchasing the new version when it becomes available. With no disrespect intended, what is the advantage of purchasing from you as opposed to another vendor. Thank you and 73's.
I'm a real radio operator and not a online giant marketplace seller who has no idea what any of the functions are on these radios and what they do. I also don't just go in and turn everything wide open on power and call it a peak and tune like everybody else.
@@ScottsRadios fair enough, you move the jumper inside the radio then bands M, N and O become available in the menu. It remains to be seen how well it performs on 15m and how 'clean' the output is there.

The button back light is bass ackwards. When it's dark, I dim and need to see the buttons. When bright, I can see everything fine. Note, if you find you're on the wrong frequency for the channel and are feeling lost... This is not the hobby for you.
I will try to mention that to them I know what you're saying about the dimmer. For the channel thing I agree. But you know some are used to only looking at two digit channel selector and not a frequency so it goes without saying that having it better in this radio will be a world of difference for those guys.
The smaller casing will always get warmer than a radio with a larger heat sink and larger cabinet. Recommend using lower RF power when talking for long periods of time. Generally less power will give cleaner and clearest modulation. Skip is all about propagation.
hello i do like the anytone 5555N2 great for 10 meter repeaters . just wish it would do 20 meters 14 megahertz and lower . any hope of this happening? thanks

Not bad if the price is within reasonable limits. Unfortunately, using those cheap Chinese rotary encoders is a no-go for me. For a small charge they could use something better and durable but unfortunately they don't seem willing to do so.
For CB operators with all the skip going on you need power or you can’t get out 5 miles without getting stepped on Truck drivers are running 8 and 16 pills
From what I hear in Michigan conditions have drop considerably over the last month or so. There are plenty of clear channels on the regular 40 channel band. Unfortunately people are hardwired I guess in the trucking industry to only use Channel 19. I don't know why certain base station operators choose to talk on channel 19 when it's always been considered the truck driving channel. Now that FM is able to be used legally many should switch over to that and they would find that running lower power on FM will generally talk much farther than what it will when running more power on AM. We also have to remember that CB is part of the HF bands which are normally meant to propagate signals much farther when the atmospheric conditions are there. So yes, technically you can talk across the country easier than you can 5 or 10 mi locally. When the maximum usable frequency dips way below 26 or 27 MHz you will find the exact opposite will happen.
Since it's not a finished production model there's no reason to show extensive testing results because it would not be fair to what will eventually be sold.
Their nice radios from the at5555, at5555n, that at6666 then the at6666n2. But I had a bad experience with the at5555n. Baught it n.o.s., and just after less than 6 months I just lost the recieve. The seller that I got it from sent an email to the manufacturer about my concerns and maybe they can send me a schematic diagram or at least a block diagram. Anytone's said they don't give copies of it. Then we sent another email with detailed info as to what happened to the radio more than a month ago, and to no avail. Now, the radio is back in the box as a reminder for me not to buy chinese made JUNK for they don't have support and don't care about their consumers unlike American or Japanese brands.
Sorry to hear about your experience although it is common. You will find the same experience from Cobra or Uniden on their newer models. They will not share any block diagram, service manual or schematic information. Uniden and Cobra actually ask the FCC for block/schematic/service manual confidentiality when they submit the radios for FCC type acceptance. This is the way it is now.
Thank you for your presentation you're very cool guy very nice radio I love the clicky sound😊

Love the color screen please show me more with the radio can do

You can count on that for all future radios.

Just learning about this company I just don't know what this radio is capable of like to see more videos on this radio 👍

Usually a few days to ship.

Yes but nothing needs to be done internally unless you want to add 15 m.
