I danced the Paso with my "petite amie" Michele at Le Saxo in Montpellier, France. in the 2000s decade!!! So these "professeurs" are instructing "paso doble sociale" - paso doble that can be done as a social dance. Paso doble of course refers to the famous opera "Carmen", whose overture is itself a "paso doble" - probably one of the greatest paso doble of all since "Espana Cani". Yep, it is a theatrical dance of the ballroom as well because of that. I even saw the outside of a bull ring in Nimes, France! Wow! I thought only Spain had bull rings. Keenly, paso doble's respect is that it started in France - although some of its roots also came from Spain.

Here - "emboite" means that the man is in line with the female partner, and "deboite" means the man is outside his female partner, just like they do in Argentine tango. So, in French - Marche emboite - pas rythmique (mouvement basique) en ligne avec la partinaire Marche deboite - pas rhythmique (mouvement basique) en dehors de la partinaire Marche promenade tournee - la promenade en tournant en la direccion a la droite Marche promenade - comme la position en promenade en la danse de tango
