I don't know if you know but the designers for the Hamilton costumes released the official pattern for the spencer jackets the cast used onstage during the pandemic. If, when you decide to tackle that, you want to try your hand at the jackets....
I love this change of pace! I made a regency gown once to cosplay a character from a series of fantasy books collectively called "Temeraire". I did however, purchase custom made stays and other undergarments from an ETSY shop as I was running out of time, and was also making two period military coats for my son and hubby. I honestly like the men's fashions of the period much better than the women's.
Cheers to your dress!! I’m in the same boat as you with the whole bust thing so I’m really glad that your dress shows us girls with big girls options 😊
The dress looks great. Is beautiful. Tip, don’t read the Bridgerton books before watching the series. The most common comment is that is so different from the books.
this is such a fantastic project! thank you for sharing all your trials and tribulations making this. I am also cursed with big booba and I've always wanted to try regency style short stays and a regency gown, but I personally can't sew so I would probably just commission them. I can't wait to see what else you make!
Have you ever seen the 1971 version of Sense and Sensibility. The costumes were so good. I watched it and thought "Those fabrics and patterns would look good now" I know how you feel with the bust line. It's so hard to find things that fit. my one Regency dress that would fit came from amazon and was only 12 dollars with free shipping. Your voice and accent are incredible. If you ever want to be in a Jane Austen stop motion video as a VoiceOver character I've written an Emma script and I want to do a collab on my channel. I didn't pop in for that I was suggested your video, because I am watching a lot of Regency costume videos. The dress is super cute. I like the color.
This looks great! I need to pluck up my courage and try to make a Regency gown of my own… I’d love to wear a Tudor gown but my sewing skills are not currently up to that! I look forward to seeing what you make next :)

In the 18th century, pink was considered a masculine color. You’re lovely. I love anything you do.🩷

I’d enjoy adding all the embellishments.
Great work you. Well done!

No wonder Queen Charlotte doesn't want to wear these Regency dresses, only sticking to these Georgian dresses.
I understand the issue with big boobs. The struggle really is real. The seam line probably is so frustrating
