Everyone is not going to like when god fearing individuals step out on faith and do something like what Tasha just did with this song. hmmmmm.Not debating the fact that God can use any song but rather saying we should not take something meant for someone else and give it to God. To take something meant for one person and give it to another without that persons consent or choice is stealing, regardless of how we change the lyrics to make it appropriate it is disrespectful to God. God is more creative than our personal preferences, and geographicical, cultural persuasions. Intentions are more important than results. If her intentions were to offer God praise through that song, which is totally appropriate, who are you to place your limitations and preference on God. G8d created reggae, rap, jazz, soul, if worship is presented in any of those genres who are you to try and stand in front of that offering, simply because you dont understand, or because of your limited framework, or preference.
