    Everyone is not going to like when god fearing individuals step out on faith and do something like what Tasha just did with this song. From the first day I heard this song, I song this right back to god, because it touched my heart in a different way. Thank you for doing this Tasha I really loved the twist you put on it!!

    The presence of God captured in this moment is breath-taking! I appreciate Pastor Tasha for not being limited in her approach, but using her gift to impact a generation, not just the church! I love this! Higher heights, deeper depths Pastor Tasha! Praying for greater.

    It is important to note that God created music, lucifer is a creation of God, he has no rights to anything. So, there is nothing wrong with this. Lyrics make the difference, and importantly intentions, when she heard this song her intentions where to minister to encourage someone, and bless the Lord. How about, alicia keys, some people want it all, and emelie sande next to me. When I hear those songs my intentions to worship and praise God supercede whatever genre those songs were placed in. God is more creative, and open than religion can contain. Thats why I love Him.

    this was a moment of expression and adoration to God I compromise when I do something BC I think it's the next big thing or bc I think this is what the ppl wanna hear but when my heart is in the right place and this is my expression to show my love who are we to say that it's a compromise...this is her interpretation of the song I mean my lord it's a love song so what's wrong with redirecting whom I sing the song to to express my love for...I'm sure John legend was not singing the song to my mother but if his words resemble my father's feelings and expression of love towards my mother then he can choose to direct it to her...so what is wrong with a worshipper directing this expression of love to or God #ImDone #DeepSaints I'm so glad that I can find worship wherever I go since God is seeking worshippers I know He'll find me while ur checking to see who sung the song #Bloop

      Queen, it's not being religious, but being in the Word... you can't bring something out from the world and present to Christ like that. If that's the case let's just change every song out there and add a Jesus to it and a glory to God to make it worship or gospel! There are so many songs in heaven ready to be released to us as singers and musicians, why take something that's perverted and offer it to a HOLY God?

      Kar Flow If I'm not mistaken, he wrote this in honor of his wife. How is this perverted? This is PURE worship, to deny her worship because the origin of her worship isn't exactly fair to her. But I digress...#religion

      James Baker #religion is the reason I'm standing my ground on this. We can't have a true relationship without have true religion according to the book of James. I guess we can take any song then and christianize it. I believe there's too much in the heavens that God wants to give us to use worldly influences. I stand on the word of God #stra gefire might as well take highway to hell and change the words to fit the church...

    hmmmmm.Not debating the fact that God can use any song but rather saying we should not take something meant for someone else and give it to God. To take something meant for one person and give it to another without that persons consent or choice is stealing, regardless of how we change the lyrics to make it appropriate it is disrespectful to God. I have seen the comment that says religious people will have a problem with it and I can only lol. It is actually the other way around.Many (and not all) religious people would be quite fine with it since they are familiar with the lyrics and see nothing wrong with giving the King of Kings and Lord of Lords hand me downs.I dare say with no apologies whatsoever,that uneasiness and discomfort in your spirit, that uncertainty in your spirit as to whether it is wrong or right may just be an indication . I am not Holy Spirit so it is not my place to go trying to convict anyone .Think of who it was written for and to and who it is being sung to and for- are they on the same level?

    We neeed to be careful with what we copy from Egypt and bring into the temple of the most high. At the end is it worthwhile twisting all circular musics to praise our God!!! Com on folks, we can do better than that....

    • @eggheadarnold
      @eggheadarnold 9 лет назад +4

      Its not twisting. Lucifer is music, music was created by God, lucifer or this world has no right to anything. Let alone music. What she did was take kingdom authority and took back something that never belonged to the world and offered it to God. Stop giving this world heir over things that it doesnt have right to. God is more creative than our personal preferences, and geographicical, cultural persuasions. Intentions are more important than results. If her intentions were to offer God praise through that song, which is totally appropriate, who are you to place your limitations and preference on God. G8d created reggae, rap, jazz, soul, if worship is presented in any of those genres who are you to try and stand in front of that offering, simply because you dont understand, or because of your limited framework, or preference.
